(Review) Bad Boys 2: (2003) Will Smith, Martin Lawrence

Bad Boys 2-Movie Review with Will and Martin Action is Great, but wait for DVD

Took them 8 Years and a bunch of re-writes, but original director Michael Bay has returned in the movie that I believe made them superstars.

This time Mike Lowery (Smith) and Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) has been assigned to the narcotics division, and a Vicious King Pin has come into town (Jordi Molla) to ruffle their feathers so to speak, his actions turn Miami into a literal battle ground for turf supremacy. I was literally awed by the amount of gun play director Bay incorporates into his movie especially the opening sequence, and ending of the movie, which breaks the rules of cinematic movie history.

Enter Syd (The very Beautiful Gabrielle Union) who plays Marcus's sister. She immediately throws a monkey wrench into the two friends plays as she makes a play for Mike Lowery and boy do they have a steamy relationship.

Bad Boys 2 is not one of the better movies to come out this summer, i would wait for the DVD.

Bad Boys 2 comes to the big screen on July 18, 2003. The film is rated 'R' for language and violence.

My rating: 8 out of 10 for action

5 out of 10 for plot

Overall: 6.5 out of 10

I knew this movie would be shit.

im still lookin forward to it anyway. i mean, plotwise the original bad boys was cacky, but it had great comic relief and the ending was pure bliss. plus smith looks 100x more badass this time round (yet he still sings kiddy pop rap. i dont get it!) so i'll grab me popcorn and have a good time im sure

eh.. i think action/comedy's should be rated as action/comedy's

first one's plot wasnt terrific.. but it was still an awesome movie.. and i have no doubts that this one will be too

actually I saw the new preview of this and it doesnt look half bad..hence the 5 out of 10 rating I'm assuming

the latest trailer sucks ass. the best one is the one that had the KKK scene in it.

I will probably see this soon myself. Not a Martin Lawrence fan really but I like Will Smith ok.

once again nice review. I saw this flick and id have to say it was a waste of time. It was NOT half as funny as the original and their was too many damn action sequences. Plot went nowhere and the movie was too long.

The movie was awesome! People who think it was bad are crazy...It had a mixture of everything. Martin Lawerence and Will Smith make a great team...you cant beat it.

This movie was ace. 8/10

Funny as hell.
