5.1?
I'm assuming this is in DD5.1 but it doesn't say anything in the nfo. Can anyone confirm?
Ya 5.1 looks like the pal one, Korean Subs are on by default and some files are hosed in it. But theres a patch out for it. So make sure u get that before u burn.
I still don't believe this can be the final. But I'm gonna buy it anyhow.
Any idea how this compares to the ESVCD release?
I really wish DVDR groups would make more detailed nfos. Does this release have menus? DD5.1? How much is it downsampled using what software? Features? DVDRs are BIG fuckers to download and it'd be nice to have some info before you do so.
5.1 yes, menu yes. But the problem is they ripped it wrong, even with the patch it WONT play on ps2,xbox,pioneers,rca. I've been screwing with it all day. Patch DOES work with Apex/GE/and Magnavox. I ran out of people's houses to run to, but thats the low-down. Most likey be a proper out. I was just bored today and had nothing better to do. hehe
what the hell is it with this dvd going to groups who most people have never really heard of and don't seem to have any clues on how to rip films to spec?

Won't work on Pioneer? Well guess I can't use it then. Maybe theses groups oughta pass it over to someone who knows what the hell they're are doin.
the fix is worthless this release is worthless nuf said. if you don't know what your doing dont do anything
Looks like they recoded a PAL release to NTSC? wtf?
Changing it to a format guaranteed to reduce its quality, what a waste of bandwidth.
I'm a bit confused here
Rating is 9.0 / 9.0 / 9.0
I the rip is as bad as people say,how the hell can it get a score like that??
Just a thought
of course it wont play on a ps2,xbox those stupid dvd players dont play anything, and dont expect them to..buy a real dvd player that will sove your problem.
have to make sure you get a dvd player that supports VBR mpeg2.
its a fine DVDR and well worth the download, especially after you print out the cd cover and dvd cover looks legit
worked for me on my sony ns715p.
this looks like a converted PAL -> NTSC from the sample. i noticed a lot of compression in the overhead Neo shot (about 7 seconds into the sample). looks like InstantCopy compressed, really not very good. i'd say wait for a proper before wasting your time.
this release doesnt have extras like deleted scenes and such right?
The menus freeze when I try to click on any options. It goes through the motion transition and then freezes at 4 seconds on my DVD player. This is with and without the fix. It also doesn't work on my PS2 and Xbox, freezes on a black screen when I click on anything. I was able to produce another dvd from this release and the quality is excellent. I authored it myself and it is excellent.
9.5/10 for the quality when it is not with the crappy menus.
d/l it now, i have the zen dvd copy[ in avi format] almost complete
& one by HUB dvd copy [mkv].
saw the sample from zen it looks & sounds ok
cant view the other because dont know what codec plays or program it uses to view it
The menu does have problems (with/without fix) but please tell me this is not final. I thought the 5.1 sound was rather weak. Video quality looks really nice however. Just make sure you burn to RW and test.
That sucks. I guess i'll just finish grabbing the pal version instead. I was hoping this was real NTSC so I could play it on my prog scan player. Oh well back to the old faitful apex 1500
I had to remove the menu to get this to work on my panny players. Overall looks good. I think its a ntsc conversion, some long pans have a jittered step look to it. All of the action scenes and 5.1 were great.
