I forgot about ftf with all these Centropy TSz, TEG screeners, and TCF DVD-rIpz

this release is watchable...

Man... I never thought i would live to see the day where FTF put out a DECENT release (TS, or CAM). I always bashed them and never even bothered with their releases, but this one actually does look pretty nice.
Good job FTF. Keep it up....
(i think a lot of the TS should be recorded with the LIGHTS ON in the theater (remember that Mission Impossible 2 "screener" that was a TS with the lights on? damn it was good) (assuming you have access to do that with the lights) and wide screen in a DV camera encoded to SVCD. It doesnt seem THAT much more difficult to do then making a reg TS and it would be a LOT better. Even the centropy SVCD releases look funny when there are bright lights, it whites out everything else. I think this setup would HELP this problem a little. Just my thoughts. Any comments?

More like FTF got a new group. Kudos to them for getting a brain.

Posted by VonRashniek on 05-26-2002 05:43 PM:

new camera?

when will you dumb ppl realize, ftf doesnt do their own filming.
my friend gets same movies as they do, from a flea market, she gets them either same day as they do, or a day later. they are tapes, and dvds off the streets in NY. so if you think they do their own stuff.... think again.
and this is not a flame at ftf. it's just facts. nice release tho, not too shabby.

this is a very good release, and the movie itself is excellent. FTF props to you on this.

jesus

i know this is off-topic and goes against the point i am about to make, but i think x69 should make a rule that you can only post if you've at least seen a sample, none of this "screenshot looks great" crap. people can click the jpeg button and see that much for themselves.

Posted by Rizel on 05-26-2002 08:24 PM:

Yeah, looks good, but did'nt we have all this before with FTF and there 'New Cams'? Was it 'Time Machine' or 'Res Evil' people were giving them mad props for?

Anyways, well done to erm for putting out a decent release in good time, hope they continue to do so as CTP can'nt do every film! Rizel

there is no way to check to see who saw the sample...

anyway.... the movie looks good.. heard it was an amazing movie.. can't wait to see this...

Jpgs

Just to let you know, you aren't the only one that can look at the jpg's of the movies. We all have eyes and can see the jpg's perfectly fine. I don't need you telling me what the jpg looks like.

Until FTF releases in svcd like Centropy, they will never be #1.

That'll work? How are you supposed to tell people have seen the sample. I agree with you, that i dont think people should post unless they have actually seen the movie tho, but theres no way to really check that.

damn, just when i thought it was good....they pull this crap again....well, it's watchable--sound ok, pic is avg-kinda dark sometime.....nothing special....just don't expect it to be spectacular

Posted by ShifTeR on 05-26-2002 10:26 PM:

pic is nice - a little bit stretched. sound is watchable, but a bit hollow. possibly a mislabelled cam. either way props to ftf and i'm gonna watch it with no problems.
