They say in nfo "High Quality TS" , but still looks like "usual loGisTic blurry" This release isnt as bright as iMPERIALs and not as Dark as FTF / ThP's, Fullscreen kinda and AR looks ok. Sound has a humming noise to it. Guess if ya havent picked up one of the others this would be the one to get. Not a "High Quality TS" as stated but watchable till Screener / DVDRip comes out.

the audio has a mild hiss and/or hum.......also overdriven a bit, or perhaps compressed....etc, I dunno, but it's saturated somewhat... still, listenable tho......

the video is in sync....but the colour is a bit washed out.....it appears to be not cropped too horribly but I cannot compare to the 10 minute trailer released before....overall this is the best TS of DOTD to date imho......

Posted by Prasman on 03-27-2004 09:47 PM:

Based on the sample:

7/7/x

a bit on the bright side but definatly watchable.

Will be back once i watched the whole thing.

A lil pale on the colours (fram sample mpeg) not pic.... audio is usual Logistic sound. but overall good release and this one is a keeper

Unhappy

Missiing the end of the movie! Every copy outside of FTF's is missing the ending. The real ending is in the credits on the boat.

Rls. Is "ok" not hq. Imerials although slightly interlaced was superior to this.

Not worth d/l unless you didnt download any other yet

yo, don't spoil it for me, but can anyone else confirm this, and if the real ending can be inferred or something? idk, just wondering.

I believe that ThP's copy had the whole ending too ... as from what I'm hearing this is in fact missing the ending. It's pretty badly cropped from what I've seen and the AR doesn't seem right ... I don't know if it's off horribly, just some scenes don't look right ... but what can I say? It's loGisTic. They aren't known for quality, but it is only a TS ... I think I'm horribly spoiled by DVDS.

from CD1 ...

vid: 6 pale colors, cropped

aud: 5 it's normal for loG

movie = 10, too bad it differs from the original so much

ThP has the ending. But yes this one doesnt.

Like I said before colors are a lil pale... I was watching when the guy was putting up the board to see what he was writing and whe he raised it all you see was a big shine of bright white glossy colour... I fucking missed what he wrote on the board cause of that ...

Oh well

From Sample

Video : Little bit bright, little bit blurry, pic is cropped about 15% ( you can see part of the cig burn in the sample ) overall better then typical LoGisTic picture.

Audio : Low volume level, and annoying hum, but its definately direct.

All in all, not a bad turn out for LoGisTic, glad to see they are improving some-what.

7.5/7/? - Still waiting for a enjoyable release.

About Time a good TS is released. i just finished cd 1 and so far its nice & clear audio. Video is alittle blurry but its still nice.

Video: 7
Audio: 7
Movie: 8

EDIT: watched the whole movie last night but didnt post. Its missing the complete ending but if you didnt know about the ending you wouldnt of noticed. Still Good Release.

Old school logistic, grainy shit. The sound is good. No issues there. Full screen and really cropped. And no damn ending. Wait for a damn screener or a proper,proper..or some sh.t of that nature.

6/8/10 movie is a 10 and deserves much better the sh.t was hilarious and bloody..just great movie and under-rated.

Decent Release (watched parts of cd1 and cd2)

Video-(6) Its too cropped (or zoomed), u can easily tell on the Universal Logo scene..Grainy, and colors are a lil washed out..
also u can see part of the off-screen theatre on the left side
throughtout the movie..wish they put more effort into focusing it and centering it.. but good try tho..

Audio-(7) Direct, but with a lil hum sound..

Movie-(?) Will wait for a real proper until i watch (with the 3 mins of credits hopefully)..

Overall-(Fair) Would have been a good copy if it wasnt for the cropping..

From sample
Video not the best, a bit blury, but the audio is terrible, when ever someone is not speaking theres this humming noise, it then cuts out when someone speakes and then comes back again.

Also if the ending is missing

SPOILER!

I need to rant a bit about this movie ... not about the loGisTic release, just about the movie in general. Is it just me or is the first one a ton better? I like the graphics in this one, more blood and it looks more realistic, but the idea of the first one was 10x better. The remake has "zombies" that can run, and jump and that are really strong, kinda like 28 Days Later, and I watched 28 Days Later and it was really good, but Zombies are supposed to move like Zombies in my opinion. I liked the fact that in the first one, the zombies couldn't get into the upper floor of the mall, and I like in this one how they kept some of the most integral parts of the first, it just wasn't as good. I like both copies, but I prefer the original ... it's like that in almost all cases isn't it?

I'll give it a 8 for movie ... 10 if it was the original. Get either the loGisTic or the ThP version, since they have the full endings ... even though they both are of sub-par quality.

/end rant

Posted by Slizz on 03-28-2004 03:41 PM:

You people need to actually download the movie and take a look before posting. Every single one of you that said that the movie had no ending, has proved to have not done so. So don't come back and say that you did, because you are lieing.

I watched this yesterday evening and the ending is there. How can it not be when it ends exactly as someone posted "in a boat" and the credits start to scroll??

Some of you are getting as bad as the people voting from the jpgs.

This copy is definetly watchable, as I did, and didn't find any reason not to watch it, and the ENDING IS THERE

this one does have the ending? I'M SO CONFUSED!

Posted by thejackal2000 on 03-28-2004 05:28 PM:

i was thinking that also, can we please have a clarification on wether this release has the credits ending or not. cheers.

Posted by gemvis on 03-28-2004 05:38 PM:

nope i can confirm it is missing the ending it goes blank just as the boat is going off in the distance but film itself is over its just snippets in the credits whats missing.
