Good to see a dvdrip of this movie, been looking forward to this one for ages, video is good, slight pixelilation in a couple of scenes, thought there was a audio echo for a couple of second at times but it may have been my standalone.

Loved the movie, very different from all the usual crap about.

Video - 9
Audio - 8
Movie - 8

Cheers DMT

Yeah great movie this one.

I also noticed slight pixelilation during the movie, like in the scene where the kids are coming down the hill on thier bikes. As for the echo Im not sure if its the movie or the codecs Im using as I hear it too throughout the movie.

Great release but whats going on with the audio? Sounds bad in some places very echoey, EG : In prison, just gets his journals has a scuffle with prisoners and journal pages get torn out all that scene has really bad weird echo. But apart from the audio probs great

Video - 9
Audio - 7
Movie - 9

it's video is like all 1 cd releases that are over 90min of video. CRAP. Audio is echoey and just not listenable for a retail dvd. When will all xvid/divx movies start becoming 2 cds? this is annoying such crap quality.

Hi,

Just watch this with my DVD divx player and I might say, killer quality, as mention before there was a few pixelation, and a few glitches with the audio, but not sure if thats in the file or with my player.

Overall, great release,

Good version but not retail for me. Somewhere between a screener and something else methinks.

NFO says it comes with subtitles but couldnt find any with the release

The video is of a good quality but the sound suffers from very bad echo through out the film. I really enjoyed the movie and will watch it again.

It's not retail, it's something between a screener and dvdrip of the retail..

agree...

not very big on the xvid scene, but this is better than the "pal dvd rip" out there which is why i decided to finally download it.

i've seen much better quality than this though. looking at any of the edges in any scene it seems rough and unprofessional and lacking the crispness that xvid should have.

video - 7.5
audio - 7.5

was going to re-encode to a format my standalone plays, but i think anyone with that frame of mind is better off waiting a few more days/weeks for a proper dvdrip to come out.

Nice quality, audio could be better. And a good movie too!

This was nuked at one of the other sites, but they don't give a reason. Possibly for it not being of a retail DVD source, as others have said.

Apart from the pixels and audio, did anyone notice the black line at the top of the screen? It's stretches a third of the way across the screen.

Whatever source it originallly came from (possible PDVD?), it's extremely good, considering.

Vid = 7
Aud = 6
Movie = 9

Just finished watching this. Really good film I thought. As for the release, video is pretty good for a 1CD rip of this length. Audio seems screwed up a little though. It's mostly fine quality, then occasionally it distorts. Only on certain sounds; it probably happens less than half a dozen times in the whole film, so really not too much of a distraction.

Try creating a Los Res PAL DVD (to watch on DVD player) with TMPGEnc Plus => 5452.96 meg video with no audio ><

Use DVD2AVI to rip out the audio and feed that into TMPGEnc Plus along with the DMT video and the audio is out of sync in some places by a couple of seconds, in other places its fine.

Maybe im doing something wrong BUT ive never seen this happen before and I assume this may be why it was nuked?

Either way im looking for one of the alternate versions.
