Just out of curiosity, is there anything on this disc other than a trailer? I ask because the last Replica DVDR release of Kill Bill wasn't downsampled at all....and this one is....just curious.

Ya, I got an error read about 63% from DVDDecrypter, then I tryed to extract the movie out, same error, same place. Then I unrared to a different different drive (thinking it may be the HD), samething.
Looks like I'll be buying this one from yesasia, no groups can get the svcd or the dvdr right. Cept Replica (never thought I'd say that one) hehe.

TWC just released a PPF patch for it. This DVD is definitely NOT perfect...

Everything is fine.

anyone know why this release is downsampled and the Replica one wasn't? More features than the other one?

My copy has troubles with playback even on computer. Also programs fail just past the 50% mark when trying to read the disk. There does appear to be some structure problems.

Minus the issues pertaining to the alien (forced subs) or lack thereof, the disc is PERFECT, this is how the movie was meant to be viewed, now if I could only find a few hundred, like two, for that limited edition box set, figure it’s either all or nothing eh? 10/10/10

everything played 100% here aswell.
read back to the HD made a .ISO deleted it
stood on one leg and made a cuppa tea.

basicly not nuked on ANY of my sites it fine.

not gonna rate the pic and sound, its a dvd for feck sake lol

Now the only thing that bothers me in this uncut version is the menus I just wish it was in english seeing that I'm not Japanese.

Is there anyway to change it to english?

Yeah ok...TWCiSO plz slow down and do your DVDRS correctly...minor steps like
GET VTS SECTORS are IMPORTANT and should not be forgotten.

As a result some people can't play this dvdr...some people have reported that
it crashes their dvd players...

I can't verify any of this myself because mine worked fine, but what I do know
is that I removed about 30 PUOPS and ran a GET VTS SECTORS which updated all
the ifos...so obviously you guys did not bother with it or it wouldn't have
changed anything.

Thanks for the nice movie though! Also I hear that part of the featurette is
missing? Dunno what to say about that; I'm not gonna navigate the Japanese
menu to search for missing extras.

Needless to say this patch does not fix all the problems with this release but
if you are having problems or have not burnt it yet, I recommend highly that
you apply this patch before you burn.
