No DVD quality obviously, but gets high marks in my book for a telecine.

Crap.

Audio jumps round all my speakers quicker than fucking Linford Christie.

Pixelated to fuck aswell, smells of re-encode. On closer inspection in some places it doesn't hark of a TC at all.

Also, should be labelled as a Line Dub or something coz this is from the .ru TC that came out ages ago.

TUN are probably gonna get bashed again, but well, like my mother always said "you made your bed, go lie in it".

As for the movie, well....

this is definately not a TC, grabbed this for my brother to watch, who has been nagging me about a release since the movie opened. By no means a telecine, but fairly decent video/audio ... I wish TUN could label properly.

Save yourselves the bandwith, this movie is God-awful! Good for a laugh maybe. Truly amazing special effects until they get to the part with the wolves. Then you realize how great the other CG stuff was. The water, ice, etc. looks incredible. Damn, those wolves look like shit! LMAO!!!

:::Im sorry but disaster movies are done, the only good one was twister. I think todays movies are lacking alot.
I believe with today's technology in special effects
any type of plot can be made on the big screen.
Not alot of thought is put into the story itself.

But then again thats what I think.

Well, this isn't the best TC..but it's not half bad...

Video is a bit pixelated, could be a lot better..Sound isn't so good, jumps around like MS said..and it's a little bassy to me..Movie itself kinda sucked, but the special effects were great

You know I think some channels are posting the wrong release of this film and labling it The.Day.After.Tomorrow.PROPER.TS.TUN cause i just previewed cd1 and the sound sucks ass..sounds like im listening to it in wav format..and the picture quality really sucks..

Anyone else agree with me on this....

First off this is a good telecine..only real flaw I can see in it is, that its too dark..but easily fixed with tmpgenc...audio is loud and strong on the bass...makes the surround sound really rumble.

overall its good if not for a dark pic it would have gotten a higher rating..movie was average.

It's not as bad as everyone is making it out to be, sound is alright, picture is good as well..! But i don't think it measures upto the VideoCD release..!!

I am waiting for a DVD Quality release..!!

I Have watched cd1 and 2 and I can't find anything wrong with this...The sound when using Surround sound is Awsome...and Picture is great on the TV...great job TUN
