Nice release overall and I'm not talking about the jpeg or sample in case your wondering.

I have yet to get the sample but going by the jpeg there this cannot be from the same source.. the teg rls and the vcd rls were much darker than this rls ... so i am diggin the picture quality.. lets just hope the audio is up there along with the pic

Im still waiting to see this anywhere, hopefully in the next few hours it'll be a bit more accessable, but getting a rough idea from the jpegs I'd cerainly think it looks alright, but then I see the low ratings and *dupe* comments?? what the fuck?? if someone knows something I dont please post a comment so I don't loose any sleep trying to find this thing if it really is that bad

This is definitely best of the 3 versions released so far. Worth the download for being still such an early pre-release. Sound is good, picture is what is expected from a TS. Only watched the sample and skimmed through 2nd CD so not sure if any major probs with the encode or not. So far give a 6/7/8

i dont think its the same source .. no watermarks ..

this an awsome release, BTW .. although i've only seen the sample ... video is very nice, although i still find the sound to be abit hollow .. its in sync.

once again i get lucky with get another release early ok heres the things with this one

Video - Video is great the camera isnt moving around and all like the begining of the other one the color is pretty good doesnt seem to be blocky at all words are in sync also. Video gets a 8

Audio - The audio could use some tweaking there is too much bass in the audio and not enough treble so i would sugest to turn ur treble up on the tv. Audio gets a 7

Movie - Movie is great but it is way too short. movie gets a 9

hard to belive we can get a good quality of this pre and we still have a shitty version of minority report.

I stand corected sorry for my original post both the video and the audio are from the same SOURCE but it is not a dupe i found this out while comparing the 2 cds the proper accually goes to the credits unlike the teg the teg u miss like the last 15seconds but i would sugest gettin the Esoteric this one much better sound and picture teg must of just encoded wrong

Ok watched whole thing, video is better than rest..I downloaded TEG version, burned one CD, put it in and decided it wasn't watchable. So I got this one and it's better. First thought it shoulda been svcd quality but as movie progressed it's telesyncness showed through. Audio got staticy for a few seconds in like 5 spots.

I'd call this a typical telesync...the others I would call less than par telesyncs. Brightness okay on this one, not a big problem, aspect ratio is almost full screen but not quite (whatever that means). The image is mabey a little bit soft, but that's typical telesync.

Compared to other telesyncs i rate this:

Video - 8.9 (Mabey coulda been a tad sharper? Mabey not, typical ts)
Audio - 8 (Goes staticy during a few parts, and parts while people talk'n so that's no good)
Overall - 8.8 (Thought it was fine, but I just wish it was dvd quality
Movie - 7.9 (Funny movie, weak plot, weak acting)

The video is not blocky by any means, but could have been a bit sharper. The audio is a bit hollow, but is bearable. I have not burned this rls yet, but the extracted MPG looks alright. I dont see why this release has only a 6.4. Should be @ least a 7.5.

The video's pretty good, with better sound, you'd appreciate the video more. The sound is a little hollowy and dialogue on more than one occasion is difficult to understand.

I wish people would stop bitching about groups period, who da fuck is you to whine when I don't see your ass releasing movies, so just stfu.

will this one fit on 1 cd like the teg version did?

i could settle for the video cuz its ok and not blocky much BUT.....................a fuckin dude makin shadow puppets of somthin on cd 2 killed it. and the audio is out of sync throughout the entire movie . was a very nice pic but damn the dude standing up and the sync probs ruined it. im glad i didnt watch the whole thing i jus skimmed through the 2nd cd.

The picture was an improvment from the TEG but the sound hell sometimes u couldn't here a word of what Will Smith was saying! Just wait for another realease I'm sure it will get better everytime. The audio in the TEG was better than the audio on this the movie is a disappontment! I'd give it a 7/4/6.

okies...im new here..anywayz..alwayz read peeps post here to get a great idea if I should DL tha movies or not. I couldn't resist on this movie though..anywayz..here mah review.

I had this movie earlier this morning..extracted it to mpeg..watched it..compared it to TEG-sample.

#1...this ESOTERiC version does come from tha same source as TEG..just that TEG's version w/ recoded and was added a watermark. The ESOTERiC version has the same aspect ratio..same hallow sound. I was very dissappointed..but heY.i know..its FREE..so I won't bitch bout it. If you are wanting to see this movie now, then i said go w/ TEG's version...in the ESOTERiC..tha audio changes..and gets clearer for some reason on CD2...in CD1..it was a lot of bass...dats it..bearly almost hear nothang...then all of a sudden CD2..it was clear...anywayz..overall this version sux!!!...and how could some of you guys give an 8 for video?...i've seen way better telesyncs then this..and would only rate them an 8.

RATING: 6/4/? haven't watch tha whole movie yet =)

anyone know if TMPGenc can fix the audio or not and if so what settings?
