Not the greatest release .. but it's good enough. I've seen better encodes, but atleast someone finally put this out. Maybe an internal will come out .. but it looks fine to me.

and well deserved damn french subtitles that show up even with subtitles off. LOL..too bad good pic and sound...I smell a proper

also if you select spanish subs on the menu it shows english subs
and if you select them with the remote subs are out of sync, heh

Not sure where you guys are getting your sub problems from. I just burned and watched it, and everything was fine. No subs whatsoever. Audio, picture and movie is top notch. I see no reason to nuke this.

10/10/10 - One of the funniest movies I've ever seen.

actually this is NOT untouched video at all.

the chapter points are wrong, they all come in early and worse and worse as the film progresses. that's the classic dvd-decrypter chapter-point dropframe vs non-dropframe bug. and when would you get that? you guess it right, doom9.org's "big-3" way which involves recompressing the video.

also, VTS_02_0.VOB and VTS_06_0.VOB are some unknown extras, and of course since they menuedit'd it there's no way to access those.

another imperfect release.

why don't you just use DVD shrink and select to not burn the subtitles? sorted

after seeing it last nite. i was getting french subs during the movie. nfo says no extras i wish there were some.

they have extras or just like 2 scenes or more.i hope it can be fix dont want to wait for another proper.

just burned it to check it out...

quality is good along w/ audio...

but along the subtitles issue.. idid see it show up once inthe last 5 mins of watching. but so far hasn't come back. kinda weird. to see frech for 1 line then not show up for the rest.

I was one of the ones that experienced the SUB issues. Also ... found the missing extras, I hope a proper rip comes out, should only be a matter of time as this movie is pretty damn funny, hopefully one of the more experienced groups will pick this one up and grace us with a proper rip

Btw, my ratings:

Video = 9 (not untouched)

Audio = 9 (spot on audio, but sub issues which are audio issues)

Movie = 8 (a good laugh for those who like to do so)

do the english subs work on this release, with the patch?...or did they already work properly?

Vid: 9.5 (awesome, no subs either)
Aud: 10 (5.1 DD)
Movie: 9 - I laffed my arse off on this one. Me & my son both watched this at least 4 times so far (svcd ts, screener and this)

Movie played fine for me, no sub problems on my JVC stand alone. I did notice that something is missing from R1 as compared to TEG's DVD Screener. In the first 5 minutes Justin tells Vince Vaughn about his cheerleader experience. In the screener the fat girl named martha tells justin "I'm not wearing any panties" In the R1 release this is missing. I haven't watched both movies back to back to see if anything else is missing and never will, but does anyone know of an uncut/rated R version? I looked online and only saw a WS & FS version both rated PG-13
