NUKE: mislabeled.TC(artifacts.all.over.the.movie)
UNNUKE: look.at.the.sample.nothing.there

...well nuke or not, the sample looks fine and of dvd quality. audio is excellent as well.

Will stick with the TC until retail, looks nice a release anyway

Posted by Haman on 03-02-2005 08:24 PM:

looks like TC for me... but nice.. anyway better than old bfm tc rls

Posted by Jamangi3 on 03-02-2005 08:54 PM:

Well I think it's Pretty damn good. I thought the TC sucked balls personally so I'm glad this is finally up.
Still a while till the retail aswell. Good Work

Posted by Redemption198 on 03-02-2005 09:23 PM:

This might be a TC, its not easy to tell, and if it was, then it far better than a DVD-Screener anyway, as the quality would be about the same, but it would probably have Watermarks.

The colours do look a little off though, and it could be sharper, but it better than the last release.

I have about a dozen Retail DVD's that have dirt and Burns on them, so why not this, Screeners are usually not mastered to as High Quality as Retail DVD's anyway.

Just checked sample and scanned through the movie, and it sure looks the same to me.

Can't say if it's a really good TC or a bad DVD rip... sometimes it looks good, other times you get those bluish-greyish blacks that normally go with TCs :/

Either way I'll watch it I think.

Edit: Shocking revelation! Look at approx 55:42 into the movie, where the scene changes from Blade holding a baby to the next one - there is a very visible cigarette burn in the top right corner. And since I'm pretty sure cigarette burns only are for cinema reels, this must be a very good TC: nuke should stand.

6.5/8/4.5

Definately not a TC. Download the DVDR version and you will see the entry screens etc.

have to agree on this one. stick to the telecine. its flawless and as good as it gets till retail.

And who says the DVDR and the XviD are form the same source? Not the same group.

How do you explain cigarette burns (saw them multiple times) on a dvd transfer?

As you can see on the screenshots, the quality of the wrong labeled "DVDSCR" is by far better. Nuke the "DVDSCR" for the mentioned reason, it won't change the fact that the "DVDSCR" is first choice... stupid rules

Posted by Deke on 03-03-2005 07:26 AM:

Yeah I think the previous user nailed it. Its either a good TC, or a Really Bad DVDSCR, because the quality is pretty bad for a DVDSCR. Blurry grainy and washed out. And yeah, cig burns.

Posted by chiv on 03-03-2005 08:00 AM:

so from the fact that noone can decide if this is a tc or dvdscr, there must be NO b&w or property of... problems in this?

also, remember sky captain dvdscr? compared to final dvdrip, sky captains dvdscr looked like a tc too (it was way lower quality than the rip, the colours were also very washed out...)

Posted by infinityfsp20 on 03-03-2005 09:21 AM:

Why is there an argument? an unwatermarked DVDSCR with cig burns doesnt even make sense, its obviously a TC. The quality is higher probably because its a different source.

i just downloaded the first rar to check quality, and yeah, this is definately a tc, NOT dvdscr...im not going to bother with this... just wait for the REAL dvdscr, or just the actual dvdrip to come out...

Posted by Redemption198 on 03-03-2005 09:26 PM:

I wasn't aware you could preview rars from avi's, unless im missing something.
