I watched the UTi internal and I know there had to be some shit they left out at the begining...I mean they jumped right into the story...maybe this is the WHOLE movie....

I'm really starting to get sick of people saying to "stop realsing it". If it gets better each time, and someone wants to see it, why the hell NOT release it?

Especially if it's a big summer movie. LOTS of people wanted to see Goldmember, and with almost every release, it got better, and if you liked the movie, or had someone that wanted to see it at good quality, than the latest release was the way to go.

Have you guys that have posted already even seen the sample? Judging by the posts I guess not. Let me start by saying, not to good. You can see chairs on the bottom of the screen, and in the sample you can see someone get up and walk in front of the camera. There is a bit of a buz in the sounds. All in all an "OK" release. I give this one a 6/6/?

I've seen the Pdvd of this movie. Its also like that, U feel that something is missing... Maybe UTi took from this source, or else.. the movie DO suck...

There is something missing off the UTi release. There's a prologue before the titles which shows Christian Bale as a kid finding a dragon under London and releasing it, that's why he has flashbacks towards the end of the movie and that's how he knows where to find the major dragon.

i watched the uti rls, and it cant really have anything missed out as it has all the initial credits, and yes it feels like your are dropped into the story, but if you watch it you find all the story out. Well i managed to and i was pissed

Well as a matter of fact the releases online are missing like 20 minutes of the beginning of the movie. There is a whole beginning where they are in present day England and the dragon awakes and that is when the movies begins not at the part where they are in the future.

I hope this release is also complete I will d/l this one for sure.

I don't think it was the release missing parts, i saw the ftf(i think) version and it seemed to do the same thing. The storyline in this movie fails to establish itself properly at all and sucks regardless.

I've seen this movie in the theater twice, and it's a hell of a lot better than most of the stuff out there this summer. Reign of Fire manages to do a lot of things right, and if you go into it knowing anything about World War 2, you can see some distinct similarities between them. Also, the special effects are great, the dragons look like the dragons SHOULD look, like the one in Dragonslayer.

Anyone who says they don't like this movie as they walk out of the theater doesn't like sci-fi/action adventure movies, since this is the best of the genre this summer, and maybe of the year. It's comprised of everything that a kickass summer action flick should be, plus it manages to put itself ahead of the pack by offering details into dragon mythology. Want to know why dragons burn everything in their path? Some people might know, but I'm willing to wager that most don't. RoF tells you why, and a lot more about dragons. Cool movie, check it out before you criticize

missing scenes...

I saw this in the movies and I can tell you that the FTF and UTI versions are missing the first 20 mins. Its weird that they have the opening credits and title shot and then jump to a point about 20 mins into the movie. you miss seeing how the 1st dragon got released and how they take over the world. its really f**ked up. Haven't checked out is new version but I won't d/l it if it is missing the beginning no matter how good the quality is.

Has anyone seen this one? are the missing scenes there?

I knew I wasn't crazy...I knew shit was missing cuz in the trailer they show parts I didnt see in the movie(i.e. the lady sayin how did they go from one to millions in so short a time...or some shit like that)...anyways...I agree...I will wait to dl this until i know i will be seeing the entire movie...
