The first original version of this copy actually came form Torrent and they used a DivX 5.1 codec (not xvid) , all aAF did like the other 400 reencodes was encode it to how they thought was good and release.

This is mislabled as it sure isnt a DVDScreener , and just a reencode of the DiVX from torrent which was out weeks ago.

I personally already got a nice DVDR copy outta that DiVX file weeks ago with nice menu & chapters (non aAF) so personally i think this is , useless , reencoded yet again and mislabled release.

Not tryin to be so hard on aAF , but seriously between all the silvers being reencoded 1000 times and now files from torrent it gets old .. what a waste of bandwidth and time cause each grp thinks they can encode better.

There was scene rules put in place you cant proper on quality (which dont seem to exist anymore as every grp thinks they can encode better then the next). If that doesnt work , lable it as something its not !

.. just my 2 cents.

I got this off newsgroups about 2 weeks ago when someone said they had made his own menu and added the end credits for us all, and now this group has released it as there own and a dvd scr, wtf ???

Anyways, this is a very good copy but not a dvd scr

Correct, he doesnt. They basically admitted that this wasnt a SCR in the nfo, but they are too nub to label properly what it should be - internal reencode.

i just burned it and that's definitely not a a re-encode, very nice quality. looks like a early mastered version maybe.

Posted by akasmiler on 06-19-2005 02:16 AM:

so whats the quality like? if it's a screener any text on it or black and white bits?

Posted by Fordirelifesake on 06-19-2005 02:19 AM:

It's not a screener. It's the same thing as the XviD dvdrip and the DVDR dvdrip.

From sample--

V: 9 - looks great, but you can tell, as pHo mentioned in one of the earlier rlses, that this has seen an analog step (VHS perhaps) during it's lifetime (look at areas with fine lines/details, there's an odd moire effect typical of analog sources present).

A: 7 - seems the R/L audio has been addressed, but this still doesn't excuse the issue that it's not 5.1 (just 2.0). It may be Dolby Surround encoded of course (I'll have to try it when I finish getting the whole thing), but that's not as good as AC3 5.1.

M: 9 - George did right for once, and the sappy dialogue between Padme/Anakin isn't as bad as in Episode II (or at least, you don't see as much of it as EP2).

This should just be a proper....only difference is that it fixes the missing end......the ADAWYAN is the best version to get anyways.

Posted by kom4nche on 06-19-2005 04:21 AM:

another reencode :-(

Posted by XboxFreak on 06-19-2005 05:10 AM:

Yep adywans dvdr is the best version to get by far untill retail.

This is just another reencode which is lame

Posted by HellStorm on 06-19-2005 05:53 AM:

bah another recode. Could be nuked for mislabel but as said before so many groups out there why waste the time. Looks great at least

Posted by vipper1oo7 on 06-19-2005 06:07 AM:

is this better then the internal one xvid that came out a few weeks ago which no one claimed indepent ? or is this the same source of that one just reencoded or a whole new one all together? and no this is not a screener george does not do screeners purposely so that people like us cant get them so easily lol

Posted by vtss120204 on 06-19-2005 07:14 AM:

I think il grab this one because sounds like they got the original internal dvd source and repacked it properly with ending intact so this should be the best version,i also grabbed the ntsc adywan release and while the menue was awsome he created i didnt like the way the video had been smooted out it just didnt looked as sharp as the internal ntsc dvd

Posted by anonymous_user on 06-19-2005 09:57 AM:

Phucing reencodes

This is just another reencode that I found on bt at least two weeks ago. I really don't think that this is the same people that released the others, but just a few lamers with a little knowledge and a lot of time.

Audio: 9 (I judge on quality)

Video: 9 (See above)

Movie: 7 (Read everyone elses post on the movie, most everyone says the same thing)

Posted by vipper1oo7 on 06-19-2005 11:51 AM:

watched the sample and it looks just like the internal indpenent release and this one has a bad ar. barly thoe but if u play the sample and then play the internal and line one of the shots up youll notice that in this one it cuts about 2 feet off, basically about 1/4 of the screen is cut off same size widescreen format as internal but cuts some stuff out

Posted by graham23s on 06-19-2005 12:52 PM:

yep the ADYWAN release is superb will do me till retail

those calling it a TC, every telecine has those cig burns throughout it, i have yet to see one of those, not to mention the meteor release and others named TC don't look half as good as this one does. which leads me to believe it did come from a dvd source, whether screener or not i doubt it it has no black and white or watermarks on the video. Maybe it's a early mastered version from the studio who knows.

Posted by GRAVESTORM on 06-19-2005 02:27 PM:

Having just watched this release, yes it's a very good copy but it still cuts off at titles at the end so there are no end credits which isn't a problem. The menu is really shit and was done through Ulead Movie Factory.
So i'll re-author this because i can't put up with that shite menu lol

video 9
audio 10
Movie 7 not as good as i thought it would be but kids love it
