You'll be missed VideoCD

Pretty damned nice for a TS. Not awesome but pretty damned nice. Video is a bit bright and there's a slight angle/skew (it doesn't detract from the overall quality, which is good). Audio is fine - clear and loud (maybe too loud)... Overall, a decent TS and a finale that VideoCD can be proud of!

V - 8
A - 7
M - 5

::EDIT:: Watched the full release now...

I stand by my statement above but the movie loses synch and glitches in quite a few places. It still doesn't detract from the movie too much cos the dodgy parts are very short but it is "chopped up" a bit

As for the movie, not as bad as I expected. Yeah, it's cheesier than kalvaitis' dick and a totally lame Superhero flick. It's riddled with plot holes and basically makes very little sense but it has two things going for it: Jessica Alba and some pretty funny dialogue in parts

A little dark, but colors are nice. Video is clear with not much pixilation even during action scenes. Direct sound is very good. Movie was fantastic! What a fun ride with great effects.

VIDEOCD, we hate to see you go. Thanks for all the hard work, and risk over the past 3 years. Your legacy will be remembered...you're one of the good ones...sniff..sniff......

CATBOX

Great quality on your last release.

8/8/9

What a poor way of ending such a "career"

Why ? Cause this only seems to be a reencode of the Spanish TS released one week ago. There are exactly the same missing parts and artefacts :

1 minute 8 seconds from the beginning - the beginning of Richards' speech is missing and you can see a beautiful "glitch" on the screen.

4 minutes 57 seconds from the beginning - the answer of Reed to Susan is cut and the end of the elevator scene is missing.

And so on...

The release is well named, it's a big fuckoff to all of us... Sad.

For once - fuck the release..........just thank the group VideoCD for all ya hard work and most of all...the risk

an impressive release.

ah well, another one bites the dust!

well done lads, a grand finale!

i will miss your homegrown ts and im hoping that another group picks up the source of the non-homegrown telesync's that you sometimes put out!

adios amigo

8.5/8.5/will watch after full dl

:: after watching it all, it seems quite nice, but the sound has a loud thump every 10 seconds or so, followed by having a short 1 second echo. it is also a bit too loud, and a minimal hiss at loud volume. none of this is too bad, but would drop my rating to a 6.5.

picture rating also drops to a 7 because on outdoor scenes it is too bright and on indoor scenes it is too dark. it is also verry cropped and there is alot of small camera movements here and there. still nice though.

movie is a 7. quite entertaining.

Audio seems out of sync to me... maybe it clears up later on but from what I've watched cd1 is out of sync.

Agreed, audio definitely has synch issues. Not a bad release, but definitely not one of their best.
I'd still like to pay respects to videocd, you guys have put forth 100% effort always, and have been true to the scene. So kudos to yas, and I'll be seein yas soon. Enjoy!

See my post above, it's nearly impossible to have a perfect sync with the image coming from the "flawfull" spanish TS

Just skimmed through CD1 and there is a synch issue on CD1 at least.

Image is sharp and sound is pretty good.

Sad to see the end of VideoCD, looks like the scene is hurting.
