Pretty good Copy compairing it to past -Pv Screeners , usually they use that 9th gen .. looks like CAM screeners but this looks more like a Wastedtime Screener.

Fullscreen , bottom right theres like glitchin in the corner but not highly noticeable, top part of the screen you got blue and red color bars along the top edge of the picture. Colors are washed and this is grainy like most VHS Screeners are. Sound is suprisinly good for a Screener.

From the sample i didnt notice any black or white scene changes or scrolling text saying "property of blah blah" , but i assume like all Pv screeners there will be scrolling text , also no counter or timmer noticed.

For First online copy , very watchable and sounds great.

Props Pv

7/9/?

watched some rars near the beginning, it looks like an average screener...bleeding colors, vhs like all in all hope it clears up towards the end, been waiting for this, but as a VHS SCr ill give this... 6/8/??? based on rars hit you back up tomorrow...

either way ive been wanting this, it seemed like a good movie outta the maybe 8 over the past 5 months

::edit:: started movie 2 times, was 2 drunk and passed out, just gotta point out, outta irony, VHSSCR has no B/W SCENES? lmfao and even worse this one does lmfao

::final:: ok after full watch it has its problems but i wanted to watch this... as a scr its decent, just annoying with the bad video output onto the file. it doesnt appear to me to be that many generations out, just a bad line to the bootleg machines... decent movie... its got its highs, and hell its history not a fake production... so this gets a 6/8/8

Hey now,

Just got done watchin CD 1, and this is a multi-generation vhs screener. Meaning a copy of a copy, etc. The video flickers at time, which is cause by it being a multi-generation copy and the vcr that was used to cap it. There is some color lost and rainbows throughout cd 1.

There is a full-screen watermark every 10 minutes or so, maybe longer. The watermark takes up the whole screen for about 10 seconds. Propety of blah, blah, if you rented or bought this movie contact 1-800 blow me mpaa. (Not those words, but close).

The audio is fine.

Overall, this is the best copy that is out and is very watchable.

EDIT: Just watched CD 2, and basically the same thing. After each watermark with a ID number blurred out in the top right hand corner, there was B&W scene for 5-6 seconds following watermark.

About 8 minutes into CD 2, the vcr starts to act up, its still watchable. This last about 1 minutes.

Based on a vhs screener:

no offence, but i think ure the airhead. most vhs-screeners have these (except wastedtime's). i have had a few: the ladykillers (scrollers), longest yard (timer), xmas with the kranks (paragraphs of warnings), guess who by bohica (paragraphs of warnings every 15min followed by b/w screen). and yes, THESE WERE ALL VHS SOURCE!!
god damn, have you ever actually had a vhs screener before?

anyway, after that rant, my ratings:

6.5/8/will watch

not too bad but seen better. much better than their amityville horror release!

::EDIT:: oh yeh, mega-man, this one has them!

Quotes like this prove you are nothing but new to this so, until you get used to whats going on. I suggest you find another hobby. Infact its actually rare to see a vhs screener without scrolling text. Mind you most of the ones nowadays are "hotel copys" so erm stfu and quit bitching at other people when obviously you are the one with no clue.

7/7/5

Newbies should really keep their mouths shut about things they know nothing about.....they end up making themselves look stupid.

Not a bad release at all.

hmmm, well firstly, no need to flame like a little bitch.

Second, get your facts straight before you come off like an ass.

Third. Workprints RARELY HAVE ANY MARKINGS other than a nice big ass timecode or sometimes serial number like star wars 3.

Why? cause they are fucking workprints moron, UNFINISHED COPIES!!!! not, in any way, meant for distribution. Hence no watermarks/b/w scenes

I have TONS of VHS screeners with b/w scenes, scrolling watermarks, etc.
One that I can name offfhand right now is 50 first dates VCD screener.

Black and white scenes and water/mark
I'm sure I have others in my collection

Can we think about maybe forcing an IQ test before you gain access to post on these forums? I'm sure that would end most of the moronic posts and such.

As for this release.

Typical nth generation VHS. I only checked a few spots on CD1 before deleting, so can't say for sure about watermarks/scrollers.

Audio is surprisingly good for a vhs screeber, didn't notice much of a buzz or hiss at all thru my surround sound on the pc.

Video is a bit garbled, with some artifcats and such, which you should expect even from a first gen VHS.

7/8/??? not interested in watching

It's watchable, just looks like an old old video tape, typical color wash, lines at the top.

retail release of the DVD is in sept... i think I'll wait for the
DVD-R or SVCD rip. Watched a bit of disc 1 and for showing up
this late in the game... leaves a bit to be desired.

I'd say 6/7/8 for this rls. The movie was good imo.
