Hard to say, he (she?) doesn't create releases, just does some improving of what's available. Does he do good work? Hell yes, some of his stuff I've seen was improved over the originals. If it was up to me, I'd list him, only because his (her?) work is pretty good and I'm too lazy (or don't have enough time) to do it myself.

what good is a poll with shitty options.. 'fuck him' wasnt exactly the feelings i had.. but 'no' would have done. i personally dont see the need for his stuff to be on this site but im an old nazi about these things.. change is unwelcome. if his stuff and the many others that will follow are added here i def think they should have their own section. but i though binnews and places like that were more appropriate for these releases. the thread from that release was an adywan lovefest.. the mans head must be huge.

but the truth is.... this is an issue surrounding the TC/TS/CAM scene (aka the-lamer-orgy) . and well scene-wise.. that subsection has gone to complete shit. i wont touch a CAM/TS with my 10 ft wang.. so i could care less what happens in that realm. as far as im concerned cams/ts's are shit.. and adywans are polished turds.
it WOULD be nice however if 'scene' groups stopp'd 1-click ripping silvers and actually put a lil time into their encodes and adjustments as adywan clearly does. it is NOT a hard thing to do or learn about it. it may take time away from your precious creditwhoring but GOD FORBID.

I have this wonderful thing called patience and a 'to watch list'.. with these amazing abilities.. i am able to find shit tons of things to watch as i wait for 'new' movies to go retail.

It's all out there, if nothing but TS/CAM's out there, I will only watch if I REALLY want to watch the film. Otherwise, I just wait for a screener or dvdrip.

i'm gonna go with what VBitter said. i personally don't agree that adywan should be listed in with scene releases. his releases are actually LOWER quality in a technical sense since they're all reencodes. if adywan wants scene respect he should be an encoder/syncer for a group imo. or get the silver himself and do a proper encode. reencodes/transcodes are the bane of my existance as someone who appreciates quality audio/video. i like what adywan does, but no props for increased pixelation (its there, its a reencode) and using other people's audio.

personally, i dont care about scene rules or politics or silvers or who's fucking whose mother, i come here for the shrimp... wait no, thats red lobster, i come here for the quality review.

if his releases have higher visual or audial quality, and i can see that compared to a "real sc3n3 group" it looks/sounds/is synched better, im going to be happier for the info and download his release. i don't give props to anyone anyway, so it doesnt matter what the group name is on a release to me, who stole it, who remixed it, as long as i get the best version i can in the time alotted.

so yes, put it in a different grouping if you have to, label it with asterisks, color it pink, but if its a release that shows higher quality, i'd like to know about it.

Whilst he's damn good at what he does, he probably shouldn't be on the VCDQ release list. Newzbin and other such sites provide good enough insight as to the quality of his work in their comments section. You need some element of control over releases otherwise it'll get out of hand with any old twink re-encoding some pile of cack just to get his name mentioned.

The best way to do it, IMO, would be for a major group to get hold of him or for him to get his own sources.... even if it means he/they only release internals - at least he'd get credit that way.

Quantity and speed over quality just won't get you any respect these days (at least not from me). Yay for you... you released a hunk of shit on the first day of a film's release that nobody can watch (which then means the group that took 12 hours to encode it properly can't "officially" release it). It's bullshit.
