from sample

I have been waiting on a TC or better on this flick, judging from sample this one is worth seeing. The audio seems hollow though, could be a lot better.

Nice Job Asteroids. I'm hoping for the day when real TC's become early releases.

Based on the sample:


V: 9, Good color and contrast.

A: 8, clear and loud w/ good bass

M: 6, It was ok. They could've done alot more with it. The first two were definately better.


C'mon Asteroids, how about that Superman Returns? There still hasn't been a good release of that movie. Hope you read my email.

looks like a great video source... wish they'd had an AC3 audio source so we could have had 2 cds, though! the video bit rate aint doing this any favours... somewhat atifacty.

This is one of the best Telecines I have ever seen, especially considering the quality that we have seen recently. Coulours are perfect, but there does seem to be a tiny bit of motion blur (this is the only way that I can distinguish it from a DVD rip). Audio is pretty awesome too, although it would be this TC's weaker point. Sounds like a DTS rip, although perhaps encoded poorly. Still... no complaints here! Movie was a letdown though...

706.27MB is not one CD. More later.

Audio is off-sync. Ahead by about .3 seconds, from my estimations.

Aspect ratio is off. More later.

Vid 5 - okay for a TC. Aspect is off, and that's why Im slamming this one.
Audio - 5 because off sync and sounds like something is wrong with it.
Movie - 9 the special effects were awesome!

Video is really good, but the audio suffers greatly. which makes me wonder if it took this long to get the great vid, why not wait one more day to get great audio too?
