Good rip Pukka.

Great release. I guess it was nuked for a mislabled TC, but that's completely absurd. The sound clearly game from a digital source. It MIGHT be an R5, but who knows.

btw concerning the nuke, whoever nuked this should kill themselves here is the nuke...

it is obviously not a tc and the sound is 10 fold better than the tc.
so whoever does the nuking should nuke themselves.

very high quality dvdscr - only a few scrollers, pristine otherwise. and, as this movie deserves, ac3.

if you can't wait a month for the retail to drop, get this - especially if you haven't seen it yet. this will quickly find it's way on to a lot of people's "best movies ever" lists. absolutely phenomenal.

Great flick

Awesome movie. Awesome release. Allow me to 'splain.

Video: 9.5 - The only, ONLY, issue with the video are three (3) very short "this is a screener" text scrolls at the bottom of the screen during the film. The video stays in full color and doesn't show any of the other watermarks, black and white sections, or other earmarks one might find in your average DVD SCR source, which is incredibly nice.

Audio: 10 - Perfect sound. Nothing else to say about it really.

Movie: 9.9 - One of the best movies I've seen in years. It has it all: guns, girls, mystery, comedy, intrigue, drug use, brief nudity, suspense, a killer plot, and even a kitten. (Yep, a kitten. A really cute one, too)


Bottom Line: Until the retail DVD comes out this is the copy to get. The scrolling text is unobtrusive and the overall quality of the release -- both from a technical and film quality standpoint -- is outstanding.

v- 8 Very good quality, not perfect, but i dont know what the master looks like? only an occasional property of banner at bottom of screen, no black and whites etc

A- 9 Dolby digital 5.1, This movie should not be viewed without!!

M- 9.5 The best damn film i have seen this year so far, very gritty, very down to earth. Some absolutely astounding camera work, cuaron is quite the auteur!!

Awesome quality just watched on the new HDMI Phillips DVDplayer that I got my "dad" for x-mas

V - 9 fantastic quality couple of for your consideration that scrolled but didnt take away from the movie at all

A - 10 AC3 on a release this early

M - 8.5 it was really good all round from story to cinematography to the acting.
