At last a watchable copy been holding out for this since Feb, typical R5 release great pic but hollow sound.

Great release. Video is very good, audio is properly synced but a bit hollow. Haven't seen the movie yet, but I heard it's really good.

9/7.5/?

Picture looks great sound has a bit of a echo and overall is just a bit dull, but this is definately watchable.

9/6/? Gonna watch it tonight.

Wow. Hello PUKKA. Superb video. Full color and excellent resolution. Audio does not quite match up. Some hollowness but excusable. The Wright person of Shaun fame makes it a must see. Will be enjoyable with this quality rlse.

9/6.5/? Am watching now.

Have seen movie. Enjoyable but not at the Shaun level. m 7

This film got released on the 20th in USA and in Canada so this is a quick welcome for me. Just got the sample and here is what I thought of it:

Video: 9 (Great Video Quality)

Audio: 7 (Hollow, but direct. Good enough for me)

Movie: ? (Will watch this release, so I might change the score on the movie)

Very nice. Great video, and very decent audio considering it's external
Gonna watch the full thing tonight

8.5/7/x

edit: just finished watching
while the audio is generally clear and such, the mix isn't so good and all the voices/noises/sounds are basically the same volume so it detracts a bit from the viewing experience. movie wasn't bad at all

rescore: 8.5/6.5/7

10/5/?

skimmed through it and the video is perfect but the audio leaves alot to be desired. you can hear everything but it sounds like listening to music through a telephone. dialog is fine but whenever there is background music its very rough sounding and gave me a headache trying to listen to it.

wish I had subs for this, i'd probably turn off the sound and just read the subs. to give somethign to compare to, quality wise the audio on the mvs TS of Next is alot more listenable. I know they're different movies but just using that as a way to say if you've heard that release, dont except this movie to be as clear.
something about the audio on this makes it hard to listen too. and i'm not usually very picky as I've watched a ton of cams and put up with them.

Ok release. The audio sounds fine through my one computer speaker and the video is nice. They got this out with a quickeness, it just came out here.

Quick release, but...

Just wanted to point out that this is going to be nuked. The movie is 1 hour 56 minutes long, but this release only uses one CD. Scene rules are damn clear on this one: it should take up two CDs.

Still, thank god we finally have a good quality release of this, particularly with the full opening sequence.

Posted by Ace25 on 04-29-2007 10:26 PM:

Video was great, audio not so much but tolerable.. kinda muffled and hard to understand at times.. as for the movie.. well, one of those "If you have seen the preview you have seen every good part in the movie" types. 2 hour movie and first 1-1/2 hours dragged on.

Actually any PAL source that is 105 minutes or more MAY be put onto 2 CD's - it HASN'T GOT TO BE be on 2 CD's - that is the rippers discretion. If 5.1 Eng audio was available then I'm sure it would have been a 2CD release.

Converted this to DVD and watched it on TV.

V: 9 (No complaints here - nuked reasons w/e who cares)

A: 6 ... The audio starts off a bit muffled, bass-y and loud. It's still OK though. At 1hour 35minutes, the audio drastically changes to hollow, tinny and very trebble-y. Each one is as good as the other, but as i said drastically different, so be ready for that when it changes.

M : 6 .. Meh, i was hoping for more after all the hype!
