Before anyone starts asking "whats missing from this workprint" - how the fuck would we know ? - the movie doesn't come out till Friday- so please dont ask stupid questions- its a workpring its bound to have different scenes / ending than that of the threater version- so go and see it- now on the release

pretty good for a WORKPRINT- has the "Property Of" blur out but the DVDR doesn't so its the same source- this of course doesn't look interlaced (DUH) but the DVDR doesn't look interlaced on my TV so its all good

judging from sample

I didn't care for the blurred box, I'm sorry I love you guys, but like I've said before it just feels to me like an old porn movie hiding the eyes so you can't tell your slutty ex is in a movie. Everything else is good though.

Good version.
Blur at top, not very noticable.
9/9/1

WTF? ANOTHER movie Hollywood should have left the fuck alone.

Rob Zombie completely fucked up the whole appeal of the original Halloween. Michael Myers is a supernatural force. This movie completely destroys that great premise and makes him (yet another) fucked up mass murderer.

Zombie should give movies a rest. Beg the rest of White Zombie to get back together and try to make a decent record. This faggot has issues and shouldn't force his therapy on unknowing movie viewers.

Maybe he just needs a hug...

Complete shit. Hopefully it will tank at the box office and he and similarly untalented jerkoff Eli Roth can have some elaborate (and highly publicized) murder suicide pact.

If he doesn't fuck that up too.

noone cares about your opinions, nor your personal agenda. rating the movie a 1/10 just for being a remake is silly. I'd lay a 10 spot down that you didnt even watch it.

anyway. 9/8/?

I love a workprint, need to get bourne but i didnt watch any of bourne series, either way with this rls, its one of the better wps ive seen in a bit, not like many come out, but still, i appreciate it, and I hope in the end it has a few cut scenes

Audio is good enough, not fantastic but very easily do-able...

will watch the original DVDR when I get it in about an Hr, but the sample for this xvid looked great for what it is

7/7/?

i need to revise to rate as a WP not as i did b4 mostly, 9/8/?

Impressive. Very impressive. Video, audio, movie. Workprint? Opens this Friday? Kudos to mVs. Just try to be around more often.

9/9/7 not bad

Great release, bad remake. Watched today. Watched the original last week for the first time. I'm not sure Rob Zombie understood why people actually like the original. The remake's script is terrible, some of the performances are awkward and too many scenes are played for comedy. A huge mistake is that the people Myers offs are so unlikable, it turns him into a hero. No supernatural undertones either. Just retarded.

Workprints rule-ass, and I guess I'm in the minority, but I like the Rob Zombie film skills.

Kudos to the mVs, and the other fuckers who released the DVDR.

V - 8
A - 8
M - 7 so far

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but I like what I've seen so far. I didn't like Zombie's other crap, but I say he's redeemed himself with this.

V - 8
A - 8
M - 6 Not as good as the original but it was never going to be. Still it is good value and worth a watch

Liked the movie

9/9/9

IMO the movie is fine, Rob Zombie did a fine job of this remake. The original was scary when I was 12, but now just seems goofy. The intensity of the killing scenes is great.

M-6 Nowhere near as good as the original. The original movie just scared you with no gore, just plain suspense. Rob Zombie uses gore to try and frighten viewers.

In Robs defense its more of a prequel then a remake.

To me, this movie looked more realistic than the original.
But I kinda wish Myers would use more techniques in killing. Like break the back, twist the neck, or even throwing them across the room and landing on something sharp. He just stabbed people with the kitchen knife.
