video - 9 No complaints
audio - 6.5...Way better than previous Asteroid rls, however; this one crackles on the high notes.
movie - waiting to watch tonight

Note: Subs require subfix for around the 8 min mark (also rlsd by mvs) when one caption was set to stay on-screen for almost 5 mins. Also, might be a good idea to spell check the subs as there were some incorrect entries...

Excellent MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the synch issue is NOT A PROBLEM AT ALL, you can't even notice it. Some people complain about the audio but they keep forgetting what R5 and Line mean!!!

Anyway

Video 9
Audio 8
Movie 9

There is 1 subtitle which needs a timing fix:

10
00:08:37,310 –> 00:08:39,310

and few spelling mistakes but apart from that 9/10 overall!!!!

V-9
A-8
M-9
as already said its best to fix the spelling of the sub fix file as it has like 20 or so mistakes.....

If your not sure how to add subs go here

Lightbulb re: nice R5

For Region 5 DVDRip this is a very nice copy!!

Good clear video and audio and subtitles all work perfectly!

V: 8.5
A: 6.5 (sounds like it was captured in a wind storm)

Any word on whether the subfix above works? I would test it but I'm at work =)

good work twisted nerve with the subfix, yes the originals subs were a mess, so folks grab those instead, as for the release , its quality visuals, but the sound is clipping like hell, its unbearable on headphones but passable on speakers ...

v=9
a=5
m=6

Am watching now. What a quality rlse both video and audio wise. VLC is not one to use when subs are involved though. Has a solid history of problems in this area. Can be fixed if you do this, that, or maybe something else. Or use hassle free WMP. Which I’m doing. Great audio and video. And oh the subs are just such a joy to have.

9/8/?

V- 9
A- 7 (Hardcoded the SUBFIX and watched on standalone)
M- 8

It would of been nice if the subs would have been right the first time and hardcoded. I also was hoping the audio line would have been better but still this is the only release worth watching since last weeks Eastern Promises R5. Get it

Thanks MVS.

that's easily the funniest comment I've ever seen on here

most reviews are on the money - ok-ish sound and usual near-perfect r5 quality video

9/7/?

Nice job all around on this release.
The subfix has a few typos, but are timed correctly.

Video - 9.5
Audio - 9
Movie - 8

Posted by OSH on 11-30-2007 12:42 AM:

The whole subtitle thing is a burden. I just wish there were a way to add them to the video without doing all of that.

Posted by formatted on 11-30-2007 02:21 AM:

V: 8.5
A: 5.5
M: 9.5

Guys, the audio is totally acceptable for a line!

You may need to edit your registry so you can compress the audio in a high bitrate this is easily done (google it)

This is worth doing and getting it right if you watch stuff on a standalone because you will definately be doing it again soon.

Remember always try google first
