I live in Melbourne so I had to wait for a torrent to appear for this, or was it a scene? not sure and dont care.

Underbelly

It started last night in all Aussie states except Melbourne, due to an upcoming murder trial.

So anyway, I suggest it is worth a look.

Its about the last 10 to 12 years of underworld happenings in Melbourne.

I think some of you would have heard the name Mokbel, well he is locked up in Greece awaiting exdradition.

It looks pretty good.

I went to school and grew up with alot of the mentioned people/crowd, but fortunately didnt get involved.

Its violent but I've seen worse, whats the chances of the full season getting aired ? from the teaser at the end of ep 2 I'm pretty keen on seeing more.

FYI. it's banned as a trial for one of the underworld killings is about to start & the jury has not yet been selected. That particular murder is shown in one of the episodes, and a judge believed that it could influence the trial.

IMO, they should have stopped it Australia wide, and not just Victoria (where I live).

Now to make things even more complicated, the whole 13 episodes have been leaked out of channel 9 Melbourne, and making their way around Melbourne. channel 9 have admitted it, and are conducting an internal investigation.

most people i know have, or have watched, up to episode 9. couple of them have the whole 13.
