Question
Ok i lent a mate some socket set and few other tools to fix a head gasket on his car.
Now i got 2 sockets with a nut in each for the life of me cant get out, now if they were cheap crap i wouldn't care but these are snap on, so question is do anyone know an idea on how to get them out without too much hassle b4 i go and kill my mate (ps he did tell me) so maybe just wound the fucker

If the nuts are mild steel chuck them in the freezer for 24 hrs then try tapping them out. Or try screwing a bolt into the nut then clamp the socket in a vice then use a puller to pull the nut and bolt out.Failing that I'll ask in one of the workshops in the marina tomorrow the guy that owns it is a mechanical genius.

I'd boil them in soap water mixed with oil. Not sure if that'll work, but that's what I'd try.
Yeah, I'm just a girl who has to come up with solutions about this kind of crap on my own

insert a bolt that fits into the opposite side of socket, the holding socket, pound the head of the bolt onto the ground, this should break it loose

my thoughts exactly...this prick borrowed some shit and returned it damaged...the right thing to do wouldve been to go to the local tool shop and replace the 2 sockets with new ones...
and if this prick cant fit the right size socket on the nut or bolt...he should stay away from tools....for those nuts to be wedged in he had to forcibly fit them...they are probably metric sockets and inches nuts or vice versa...
if im wrong the only other way it couldve happened is he didnt use liquid wrench(joint loosener) and put a lever bar on your ratchet and wedged em in
either way...hes an asshole and shouldnt be trusted with shit again

you can either take a torch to the socket around the outside of it as to not heat up the nut as much or you can try and screw a bolt through it to push it out.
screw a bolt into the nut, then drown it in wd40 or silicone spray.
remove nut.

You could probably replace 'an education' with your choice of 'friends', 'a sense of humour', or 'a life' to make equally valid assumptions.
