Found it very satisfying because of Baltar's fate. Now that's justice.

I have to confess, my myself and the GF felt let down by the final episode... It seemed to meander along for 40 minutes then suddenly it kicked-in a cheesy rock track and went "Oh yeah, here is the season-end cliffhanger" and proceeded to show us Starbuck and some Cylons - nice idea but they fucked the build-up.

I'll still watch season 4 with my fingers up my arse though

A miserable end to a miserable series, crossing my fingers for season 4

Shuttlecock Fantastica...bring on January and S04.

I've found that if you watch it in blasts of 4 or 5 episodes back to back even the laggy episodes are great. Started watching again from S01 with my housemates...don't we'll take until Jan though.

I kind of lost the faith half way through this series, been storing em up to watch back to back. Doesn't sound too promising as yet.

Will save for a rainy day.

My thoughts exactly.

Except I won't be using your arse again after that melted brie incident.

BSG gone after season 4

June 1, 2007

SCI FI Channel's "Battlestar Galactica" will sign off next year after its fourth season, producers said Thursday. Variety says the series had to fight to get renewed for a fourth season.

Executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick issued a joint statement saying it was their decision to end the series.

"This show was always meant to have a beginning, a middle and, finally, an end," the producers said. "Over the course of the last year, the story and the characters have been moving strongly toward that end, and we've decided to listen to those internal voices and conclude the show on our own terms."

The producers promised to end the show "with a bang."

"Battlestar" will begin its fourth season with a two-hour episode in November. It will then return in early 2008 to finish out its 22-episode run.

SCI FI Channel hasn't yet said if it plans to move forward with a proposed "Battlestar" prequel series.

Better to end it now than introduce flying motorcycles

BSG Returns in January. In the meantime we'll get the 2 hour extended episode in November, called "Razor".

Razor will be about the Battlestar Pegasus, spanning a timeline from the attack on the colonies to around the time of the beginning of season 3 (i dunno why i'm avoiding spoilers but whatevs)

Season 4 of BSG, 22 episodes, will be its last, and the producers have said they shall give the series a proper ending.

Here's hoping that the new season will not have as much fluff as Season 3, i can't see, it being the last season, that they have too much room for filler but ya never know! Atleast i was in the minority that actually liked those episodes just fine (mostly because Baltar rules)

Agreed Dwaggs... I can't really fault BSG. There's some "filler" eps (especially in season 3) but they're still top notch TV.

Like I said above, they can end it however they want as long as there's no flying motorbikes!

Razor is out, watching now, looks good.

Thought I posted on here about Razor a week ago

Anyways...I'm either getting Alzheimer's or there's a shitload happened in the first 3 seasons. I've forgotten a lot of the storyline relating to Admiral Cain and can't remember how her successor came round to getting murdered (though I can remember him bottling it and Lee having to take charge). I may have to take a few refreshers before I can watch Razor (judging by the intro)

I do try not to be redundant so where and what did you post a week ago? But on to matters of import. Watched once and am completely lost. Will watch again but like baha may need some refreshers. Nice to see it back though even if it is only a 2 hour special. January will be here soon enough.

Bumped because this weeks episode was SEXAY! I've got at least five ideas where this show is heading and I expect them to all be wrong.

It has to be said, although I like the way in which the story is progressing, this season has been a little pedestrian at times... It might not help the plot but surely they could just have the occasional *random* dogfight or gun battle, just to keep us meatheads happy
