Why does everyone (who is not in IT) think that IT jobs pay well?

And is the housing market going to crash soon?

I got software on the PC that isn't in the add/remove and most annoying of all
Almost all the things that ARE in there don't have a REMOVE option (or any options) They are just listed with ...
"Used... Rarely" even next to programs that i use all the time.

Whats up wit dat ?
