no offense seedee but ur a dumbass. a pre RETAIL dvd less than 2 weeks after the movie hits theaters? grow a brain

---------------------------------------------

this is why this forum is shit. because you make a comment, and then you get some c*nt like cerial who doesnt understand this is a film quality review forum , and thinks I'M the DUMBASS !!!

Well serial, the Spanish\POrtuguese DVD version of this film is out on 25th October 2002, which makes thsi quite possibly a retail pre DVD.

Doesn't have the normal vhs screenere "lines" at the bottom which does suggest it is from a dvd source.

Anyway, good quality copy, cerial's a c*nt, and last post from me on this film. Shame the thread turned sour. NIce one ceriass!!!

Well I think the watermarks and the timer kinda give it away that it's not a dvd source. Not to mention the video quality. A dvd source would have a way better resolution which would warrant a SVCD release.

That's because this isn't a screener, it's definitely a VHS source which could be a TC, but it's not a screener. Not to mention the VHS shitlines are easily cropped out.

He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! So I run into him a week later in the mall and hes buying another cat and I says to em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why dont you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....

True, but I don't think they know themselves.
This one's probably a TC, it's fairly decent and definitely not a dvd screener like some idiots are saying, you can see the VHS lines at the bottom of the screen during playback.

7/7/6.

Its a VHS screener put on DVD I heard, I dont mind labling as long as its good qual, anyhow this looks aight for a screener alright.

Couple of points

1) A dvd retail with counters? oh pls...

2) Quality is NOT DVD source for those that need to grow eyes. Good VHS though.

3) Suspect it is a workprint or a telecine because the earlier VideoCD "SCREENERS" with timers were workprints. It is probably from the same supplier(Vin Diesel)

4)And lastly, a VHS SCREENER put on DVD will not improve the quality of the movie.

hot shit

I finally got around to getting this one. i wasn't planning on it because of the mixed review.
it's gotta be a workprint
think of 8/05/2002 Minority Report *READ NFO*
DVD SCR with a counter? not gonna happen

video 7 { one u get past the counter and the S-92 mark the movie isn't to bad. it gets a little blotchy and CD2 seemed a little darker than CD1 (maybe just the scene)

Audio 5 { wasn't that great, i had to crank the treble and there was a couple of pops on CD1

overall: Eh, not a bad wiseguy flick. beats wanking it on a Thursday night. it's got nothin on Goodfellas

Well maybe they have different sources. If you notice thier TC line of releases are all from Sony Pics aka Columbia/Tristar. This rls is from New Line. Just cuz this rls has a counter doesnt mean it came from same source as thier TC's.
