-- 8 Mile *INTERNAL* - TELESYNC - TCF (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=11138)
id say go for svcd unless its gonna reach over 3 cds then stick w/ vcd... i dont care about dl'n a 2 full 800mb images ... video is usually smoother if not much better

stay with vcd and save everybody some bandwidth not even difference between them so it would be better in vcd
I'd rather the vcd...unless the source is NTSC. Cause my dvd player won't play PAL svcd's : )
is it worth downloading this if i've already got the ECO PROPER?
TCF is the Brett Favre of da scene

This TS is wide screen and SHARP-- almost dvd-ish. It's that good, people.
TCF RULEZ ALL.
Looks very nice TCF. Props to you!
ECO vs. TCF
Okay:
1. ECO's version was very watchable, but some points of the movie it seemed as if they were holding the CAM or something and it was shaking/moving a bit. Not too often, but it happened.
2. ECO's versions audio wasnt too bad, and clear enough to understand.
3. ECO's version look as if the CAM was zoomed in too much. You can tell this because half the times peoples faces are cut off in the picture, and the credits at the begining were totally cut off.
4. ECO's version was Full Screen.
1. TCF's versions video looks like it has a bit more color, and its a bit brighter with better focus.
2.TCF's versions audio is a bit better. Clearer then ECO's, very decent.
3. TCF's version is Widescreen, and displays the FULL picture, nothing is cut off on the sides and the picture is much larger.
Thats just my 2 cents.

So is this release hands down better than the ECO release? ECO's is already on the usenet, so if there's not much of a difference in quality, then I'd rather just grab it there. Just looking for ECO vs TCF comments
thought i'd check this out, as its always nice to see what groups doing stuff for themselves are capable of..
video :: the camera is positioned a bit to the right hand side of the picture, as evident by the opening logos, its not too far, and from the size of the logos and opening credits, it looks like around 90% of the picture is intact, which is a huge improvement on most caps. im presuming the film is shot in 2.35:1 (imdb doesn't have its techspecs up yet, so i cant tell) and if so, hats off to em for being able to film such a wide film so well. if you want the full screen version that ECO offers, then just hit zoom a few times, as thats basically the difference. personally, i'd rather see the film in its correct frame. the motion of the picture is good, with only slight motionblur, which is to be expected from the telesync method, and a minimal amount of grain. i found the video on the ECO release to feel almost "quantized", and it was quite annoying. colours are accurate, and only a slight flicker from the NTSCfilm>PAL conversion. overall, compared to the TS' i've seen in my life over the last 5 or so years, it has to be a 9.
audio :: audio is taken from booth or another direct stream, rather than a dynamic mic or receiver. its perfectly in sync, and the full range is evident when played back thru my amp/speakers. nothing to fault, another 9.
movie :: don't know im afriad.
votes taken from skipping over the whole of CD1 on a DVD player connected toa 21" 4:3 TV and a seperates hifi system.

glad to see TCF has finally launched off their homemade telesyncs. i do like the picture and audio quality alot. nothing is cut off the the video camera isnt too close like with ecos.
it almost looks like the video cam was zoomed back really far. they almost made this one look like a DVD widescreen.
Great quality overall....video is clear and has vivid color, sound is nice, very clear. I'd say go with SVCD unless the movie is so long it would be 3cds, then go with VCD, since you can tell a great difference in video quality between your svcd and vcd samples.
8/9/xx
all i got to say, wow.
if this is the quality of things to come from TCF, i cannot wait. I believe that the quality of this telesync even surpasses that of video and the screeners that tcf put out...again...wow.
Video quality i would give a 9. I was a little annoyed at first about TCF not releasing Jackass etc, but it appears that the tests they did to perfect the telesync method really paid off. The full widescreen ratio is also a major plus point for this release. Looking forward to a 007 and a lotr fix from TCF to watch a few times after going to the cinema
Audio quality deserves a 9, there is a slight hiss in the back that could be eliminated but nothing that would make the release impossible to hear. Fully clear, and sounds AMAZING through the dolby digital setup, very impressed.
Film itself, not a clue, going to check it out as soon as cd2 is done...the pains of living in the uk, this film isnt looking at a cinema release till feb
sucks for all u who live in UK. u gotz to wait til feb to see 8 mile but u get hp2 right away. from UTI.
looks like TCF will knock CTP from the top spot.
by the way who cares bout jackass flick look at how many came out. that movie sucks like whoa. and its rating is a 0. 8 mile took that one off #1.
harry potter will probably be in #2 spot because of the excitement for it.
well worth the download. better than the PROPER for sure. nice job TCF.
Good Work TCF. I Have to Agree i like SVCD. But this is just fine,
ECO and FTF where Alright But i also agree this one tops them all.
Good to see you guys arent just doing SCR'S , Also giveing people the choices in your samples is really cool Guys.. Just keep up The good Work guys, When People think of TCF they thing of good quality. So you guys defiantly have a name for your selfs. Well i guess this is when i rate the Movie.
8/8/7
