I think VCD Silvers should be allowed to be released, but groups should inform us in the NFO that the source was a VCD Silver. Then people would know whether to download it or not and we would bitch at the groups so much.

Dont try to flog off a VCD Silver as a home-made TS or CAM. (Not pointing the finger at ThP)

If there werent groups ripping these movies what would all of you do. I know I never complain about something that is free. I might say to my self this isnt that clear or sound isnt right but whats the point in going on the internet and posting about it, the movie is still going to be the same when u finish posting. And to those who need to choose to download a movie or not quit whining because I know most of you have to have cable, DSL or higher so it doesnt take much of your time. Start d/l and take your ass to sleep.

for starters guys silver just means it was pressed and not burned. thats all and nothing else. the term silver has absolutley nothing to do with the format of telesync or cam. it is just a refrence to how the disc was burned. havent you ever noticed that when you burn a CD you can see where the writing ends but if you purchase a CD and look at the face it is all SILVER.

the asians use telesyncs and cams to produce silvers (pressed VCD's or DVD's) and distribute them. it doesnt make it not a TS or cam because it was made into a silver.

just because a release group got it from an asian silver does not make it less of a telesync or cam. when the release groups get a silver they will evaluate it based on their experience and try to make a determination if it is a cam or TS. since they didn't film it they don't know for sure how it was captured in a theater. if the audio is clean and there is no audience noise they will label it a TS.

they are not doing it to try and fool anybody. they do it because it is a scene rule to include the capture method in the file name. if you are fooled by the labeling it is only because you are a fool and do not understand why it is there or what it means.

you guys seem to think that the TS in a filename is an indication of quality when it most definatley is not. the idea that the silver should be denoted in the filename or nfo is about as foolish as the idea that home made TS's should include the type of camera used in the file name or nfo.

the sample files are there for quality assesment. if your source does not include sample files then dont complain that the scene should change their practices and rules to accomodate the lower echelons of distribution that they have virtually nothing to do with. instead you should either better your sources or pay closer attention to how things are done so you can make the determination without having to download a sample.

BTW
the release is IMHO lower quality than the PMT release. both releases are fairly poor quality so unless you REALLY want to see this movie skip on both releases. i REALLY wanted to see the movie and i watched the PMT release but i grabbed this release to compare and i feel the PMT was slightly better. had the PMT release not been around i would have watched this copy and enjoyed it.

i do not expect DVD quality or even VHS quality from any TS. if thats the quality you are expecting then don't download ANY TS's because none of them can meet up to that quality standard. you should be waiting for at least a screener if you have a problem with the quality of TS's.

As for the movie, I've so far only downloaded CD1 of both this and the PMT release - both are pretty shabby, which is why i haven't got a CD2 yet... 5/5/?

saw the sample ,

is this another A-Team group? i hope not. i think A-Team left the scene. they havent released in 17 days. this looks like it was taped in an IMAX theater cuz at the bottom u can sorta see the roundness of the screen. bad quality movie anyway. ill take the PMTVCD over THP.
