Why is it that almost everytime someone backs up a member, or a group they get accused of "sucking their dick"? Can't people just defend someone or something without being thought of like someone who just wants to get on someone's/somthing's good side? I could care less what MG thinks about me, or anyone else for that matter, but that doesn't deter me from thinking he's a great member that doesn't deserve to have his integrity (I know, honor among theives and all...) put to the test. cccmmm, you're right I shouldn't of gone off like that, it was uncalled for, but really I feel that this thread is almost an attack toward someone we at VCDQ have come to respect.....just could of been handled better I think. For instance, you're 6 options, only 1 of which would be considered "for" MG.

if youd do a little searching.. youd see that PHUCKER pretty much designed the movie discussion forum for the sole pourpose of MOVIEGOD to post his reviews of movies

but in fairness to moviegood the poll seemed more like BS because there is only 1 postive selection, the other 5 are all negitive.

there should have been 2 positive,
2 netural,
an 2 negitive selections to vote for.

Hence i see the the poll, as much as i dont want to admit it, as SLANDER
which is worse than just flaming the guy.

To be honest with you guys...i'm kinda over this thing. i gave it a little thought and figured that its really not my business. If MovieGod wants to do his thing, nothing should stand in his way. I just won't pay attention.

After reading the arguments that a lot of you presented, it made me realize that there are a couple of ways to look at this.
and @Starscreamer, intesting point about the poll. There is one that is "for" MG and that's the first choice. But I admit, since I am swayed to one side, it was a slightly biased poll. I wasn't unfair, but made more options for the level of unsatisfaction. That could be for the best though. Because you either believe him, or you have some degree of disbelief. so maybe more choices in that dept. were necessary after all. it all in the eye of the beholder on that one though.

anyway...back to where i was going. i'll just not say much more about this unless soemone flames or something. then i'll argue a little, but i really don't care. it was more of the principle for me. I still strongly believe that i haven't been told the whole truth, but who cares. i can live w/ that. I don't want to be hated for the duration of my VCDQual. life. sounds kinda shitty to me. Im not folding, but will just kinda let this one go. MG, you haven't said much throughout this, so is there anything you'd like to say to defend your name or anything like that? I'm sure you've seen this thread. You must have felt that it wasn't your place to get into this debate as it was about you. So, i'd like to appologize to you if this shit hurt your feelings or whatever. you're not off the hook yet imo though, so why don't you post a msg explaining some stuff. no bullshit. you owe it too the people around here.

MG doesn't owe us anything.

And he probably ignored the threads cuz it's a ridiculous topic.

in my opinion if i may be so bold i think MG did all explaining he had to do time and time again and i really dont think that he needs to "defend" his honor here...he's got his fans and unfortunately he's got his ennemies but i am sure that goes for all of us

Starscreamer - I agree with you - the whole dick sucking references thing is a bit worrying, really. Yeah, condescending - but people ages shine through when their best retort is "You suck dick!" If you enjoy talking about sucking dicks, then please do so in the privacy of your own room and not on here.

This is very, very simple. It's great if a member wants to review a movie. But MG's posts are not reviews. I encourage him to fully review a film - post it's strengths and weaknesses - without giving away any spoilers. Mere plot summaries and a 8.5/10 at the end isn't of any use to anyone.....
