It was PDVD, that's why

dvdassman just check at lion's (yours?) past attempts at releasing something they're a fucking disgrace, it's obvious they have no connections other than those little asian pdvds anyone can get. Fuck lion and fuck their stolen reencodes. i'm glad groups like this will never be accepted in the real scene.

No, I'm not new. Maybe you should start looking at the date that people registered.

he means new scene wise (& knowledge wise,) not the date you registered.

You can tell by the video quality, if you see divx artifacts on a SVCD then you can be pretty certain. If it wasn't a re-encode why doesn't lion just upload a vob sample as proof (duh). The don't have evidence themselves to prove otherwise.

I wonder how these guys think.

Hmm.. this dvd we got from a streetcorner/crummy webshop/divx download, what should we label it as? DVD Screener? Yeah, sounds like a plan!

I mean, if you have a DVD screener, you damn well KNOW it is a genuine real DVD screener. The stupidity and ignorance really overwhels me.

edit: Oh, and need i remind you they pulled the same stunt with Minority Report a while back?

<<< unashamed n00b

call me one if you wish... doesn't matter as long as I learn..
but what IS a pdvd?..... and I do know what a divx is.... but why would someone want to take it to vcd or svcd? It was my understanding that doesn't work so well?

sniff snif.......what do I smell?
aaaaaaaaaaaaaah kazaaa!!

But seriously, why would anyone re-encode a divx? If the divx is out it means the DVD (SCR) is out.
