scr watermark, ticker, b&w frames, studio tags.

6 and 15

Did anyone notice at the begining of the movie at 6 seconds and 15 seconds it messes up a little bit?

Ya looks like a low level 2-3 pass rip. Oh well....

For those that have seen the dvd screener, is this release better or worse? Don't wanna waste the time to get this if the screener is better quality.

The screener is better quality, FLiX didn't take the time to produce a quality rip. Major movies get raced to release which is why some groups take short cuts.

hehe.. I believe this is done with intention by the director/producers

The same "mess up" appears on the dvd scr by TDi
(and there was someone who mentioned the same "problem" in the comments section of that rsl)

Because the movie is about a VHS tape.. these distortions can happen or whatever.

Software DVD players are stupid like that. they assume like 45 mins to a CD or whatever you can fit on an SVCD @ 2520 kbps (I forget). Just today I burned one of my own dvd rips and since it was overburned, WinDVD figured that the disc was 7 hours and 7 mins long. :P
