BTW: this title should b a nuke reason: mislabeled.CAM this definatly is not direct input sound..and the person who KEEPS putting their hand in front of the camera is realy pissing me off !!

Well most of the TS's out these days are mislabled CAMs, but I'd have to say the sound on this one is pretty good compared with others. The video source for a TS is the same as a CAM so it doesn't matter if hands get waved or ppl walk past the screen, doesn't mean it gets nuked. Think the cammer did a good job sitting there for just under four hours, don't you think?

For exactly that reason it should b nuked..reason being now that it is known it is a CAM other groups will b encouraged to release maybe a CAM.PROPER or TS or TS.PROPER version thus starting a war on who released a CAM or TS version first which in turn could end up with maybe 3-6 releases of the same film given the notable quality of the content of this film..y can't we just get back to a simple won race or lost race situation instead of multiples and multiples of films being released and no1 knowing which is best and wot source they realy are..

Wow nice shadow pupets, people's backs, and i can hear him eating... Plus the first 5 mins im getting sea sick as the camera is bouncing up and down like a kid reaching for candy. I couldtn even get past this. Not to mention, the audio goes mad low as i scrolled to later in movie. This isnt a ts in the slightest. Its some cammer who is obvously more concerned with shadow puppets, and making noise, than gettin a good release. Now can we have gods of war attempt number 2

Nice quality but like the last few posts said the guy holding the camera was kind of fidgeting way too much , were the ppl looking at him when his hand went over the lense? we may never know but hey i suppose these guys who risk their own necks deserve some credit no matter how annoying it sometimes gets.

60+60+60=180 +46 minutes = 216
so 3 hours and 46 minutes would not really be classified as 4 hours especially if you count the 10 minutes of previews before the movie.

Some people here, including the staff, still like to support movies and will spend the time to go see them. so all in all, its not almost 4 hours eh. oki

decent picture. sound is crappy. can barley hear anything. they need to stop moving the camera around and make sure its in the middle next time. should be nuked for not labeling it correctly. its a cam, not a telesync. hopefully the next rel will have the sides of the movie as well.

Esoteric CAM too short?

If i add up the time of all 3 sections I get:
cd1 58:17
cd2 64:34
cd3 68:15
Total 191:06

However the running time is listed as 216 minutes. There appears to be a missing 25 minutes of the film. I suppose it could be the end credits, but 25 minutes? I did not see it yet in the theaters. Would anyone else care to comment on what has been cut.

I have seen it that the running time is 229 minutes not 216..I wonder if they are including preview time and credits in the 229.
If not then this release is missing 38 minutes. I havent watched the entire thing yet but I will be mighty pissed if I watched a movie this long and its not complete.

ok im not gonna be an ass its not that bad quality except i saw at least on disc 2 there was a hand kept covering the lens and the sound was decent but i think it could have been a littler louder
decent for first rls though ive seen alot worse

The quality is great for a movie that is as new as this one is. I can't figure out why the guy running the camera keeps putting his hand in front of the lense. He doesn't seem to be adjusting anything and he does it every few minutes through the first part of the movie. Other than the mysterious hand, it is of good quality.

Been waiting on this release. Video Quality is good when it wasnt covered by hand. Missed one of the battles being covered. Audio was good at times. This should have been nuked due to the interuptions throughout the entire release. Seen alot better by ESOTERiC. Keep it up guys but plz prescreen before releasing.

This CAM is terrible due to the rustling, the head and hand that gets in the way alot. The first 10 or 11 posts say how good this is and dont mention this.

The quality of the cam without the bad bits is good but it is very annoying to try and watch. I give this 2/3/couldnt watch it to give a vote on the film itself but will dl a better one when it arrives.

Anyone who posted that this release was good in any fashion has never watched the release itself and obviously only watched the sample. I unfortunately watched the entire release. While the actual audio / video quality was excellent, this release was definately NOT a Telesync. Telesync's infer that there is a direct audio feed and we had to sit through listening to the rustling of the recorder's jacket and coughing through the whole movie. Serveral scenes were cut from this release. The recorder put his hand over the lens evertime anyone in the theater stood up which seemed like every 5 minutes. At some points he even zipped up the jacket over the lens for 2-3 minutes at a time. At another point, someone sits directly in front of the lens for almost 10 minutes before the recorder finally moved to another seat. The audio was almost as bad as the noise of the jacket the recorder had the camera inside was louder than the audio from the movie, and it was constant through the entire film, the guy could not sit still for 2 minutes! I agree with the earlier post that this release should have immediately been nuked 100x. Don't waste one byte of bandwidth on this release, one of the worst I have ever seen, Shame on you Esoteric!

For those of you wondering, the roaming hand and other distraction account for about 15-20 mins of the movies total run time.

I was gonna type all that but you did it for me. I cannont understand why those at Esoteric thought this was a TS, not a chance in hell. This reminds me of years past and watching a hong kong silver of Enemy of the State with people walking around during the movie, just even worse. This is by far the worst scene release I have seen in months. Do not waste your bandwidth on it.

I've never cammed anything before so I guess I could be flamed here but I have given it a great deal of thought. First ya wanna go to cam it late at night or first showing of the day so not so many ppl are there, second sit near the back to get the best angle, third put the mike somewhere where you are not gonna fuckn bump it every 30 secs (which is what this cammer did), But most importantly, configure your cam on previews, not the feckin film itself. And note to the cammer: when someone stands up in a cinema they are not trying to find you and catch you. They wanna take a piss or get more popcorn!

Props to the group for releasing the film anyway, and it is fair to say the quality is good outside of the massive killer hands and moon shaped head. Which incidentially is where I KNOW some of the movie was cut, if those of u that have cd1 scan to the bit with the head, and scan to the end of the head, listen to the score of the music - it abrutly changes and the head vanishes - deffinate cut there. All in all, this rls should be nuked because of it being mislabelled, not because its shit, allthough strictly speaking you could say it was bad audio (the level does drop through the floor at points, so u turn it up, then Mr Figity decides to try and lick the mike like it was a icecream or something and u end up with really really really loud rustling

And I guess what with the cammer taking the what must be drastic action to zip up his coat / bag whatever it was and or shove his hands infront of the lens for half the movie this release should be nuked for bad video. Anyway - dont bother with this and next time maybe esoterics next "ts" should be checked thoroughly before being released. Too late to nuke now cos everyone thats gonna get this as a result of a site will either have it or not want it by now.

Someone Pls Re-Release this

I know nobody is probably gonna read this far down on the list, but I saw this in the theatre and I realy liked this film. This was the funniest release I have ever seen. As funny as it was to watch the cammer in action, the movie is 100% unwatchable.

i agree; this isn't even worth the download..sure you can get the jist of the movie, but with all the "added features" it just ruins the whole movie.. not worth it

Definately noone is reading that far.
Finally got around to this movie.Sample -wise.. looks like ESO took the best part (as far as quality) and tore the piece out of it.Going by the samle i would have given it 8/8/9.But hell once all 3 cds were burnt.. i realized i just wasted 3 cd-rs .. this is 200% unwatchable.. cam moves up and down left and right , audio is quite noisy..CD1 has some parts where there is no video , just audio...Therefore i am giving it 2/2/9
