-- Cradle 2 The Grave *SVCD* - TELESYNC - Centropy (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=15952)

Posted by pHizZ on 03-03-2003 07:50 AM:

My Two Cents:

Video: Nice and sharp, slight bluish tint, but watchable. Motion is kind of sketchy, will probably look better on TV. Camera is steady, as usual, nice Centropy quality. 8

Audio: Clear, but volume is a little low. Great usualy Centropy quality Telesync. 9

Movie: Ehhh... needs less gay. 3

Your original post was telling a group to "DIE" which is not cool and frowned upon. Your opinion towards a groups is not wanted by the moderators nor by ANY of the regular posters on this board. Ctp has a right and WILL continue to release how they want and there is nothing you nor I nor anyone can do about it. Does it warrant an SVCD? Thats not up to me to decide..what is up to me is which version of a release I go and get. You dont like this one go get Eso's..dont like Eso's go to the movies..dont wanna go to the movies..read a book. Put your rating on the MOVIE and note any problems there are and get off the stage..if your post gets edited..accept it..dont like it..leave the board. This is VCDQ now and I have no problem with it. Flamers while some are quite humorous are unnecessary and a waste of space. Deal with it

y do ppl complain bout ctp and their svcd's ? they give top notch ts's and u were gonna use 2cd's for a vcd anyway rite ? thats just my two cents. anyway this rls is better imo than the last, not to say there was anything wrong with the last rls. pic is clearer and audio is much clearer. pick it up if ya wanna see tom arnold ridin in a tank again lol nice to see ts's gettin better from almost every group around. makes everyone try harder. all in all. a nice normal ctp rls

Centropy did a good job on this release, and, yes, all though we were ALL suprised at ESO's last release (based on the sample), I think most of us should agree that this release is better.
Centropy's releases usually have a blue tint, and so does this. It is not, however, pixelated, and it is very WATCHABLE. Take in mind that a telesync means IN THE THEATRE, so it really isn't going to have the best picture, no matter how far or close you are to the screen. Centropy's releases never move, they're steady, capture the whole image, don't make mistakes releasing them, and etc. I'm not for them, but they did a great job on this, and if you're asking which to download or buy, definitly this one!

I might as well jump in too.. from now on re-editing your post after a moderator edits it.. will result in a ban...

were moderating your shit for a reason.. so that means.. learn from the reason.. and dont do the shit again

8/8/7 Great job!... the only stuff bad about it would be just nid-picking.. only thing better would be a TC or SCR..(if prop ripped)

Posted by phoR20 on 03-03-2003 10:36 PM:

great job Centropy ...less blue this time

no flame intended for ESO... their rls was damn good, just not damn good enough :P

Posted by djkoolaide on 03-04-2003 12:03 AM:

getting better, dudes

but until the quality is up to your previous quality (last summer) just keep it to plain vcd's..

Posted by VCD_MAD on 03-04-2003 02:09 AM:

all i was saying is, that the QUALITY is not good enough to be on SVCD

the ESO release was and is alot better then the CTP
and it should have been put to VCD

Posted by CcZ on 03-04-2003 02:48 AM:

Um, VCDMAD, have you watched the whole release of the ESOTERiC? The sample was great, way better than the rest of their other releases, but not BETTER than this one. The ESO had people walking in the theatre, making noise, the sound wasn't great, etc. It was a good release, NOT as good as the CENTROPY.

Posted by VCD_MAD on 03-04-2003 03:26 AM:

the pic was BETTER and thats what matters .

its no good if you can hear it but you cant see it . is it ?

CTP dont give a fuck what you say, as for they release for themselves, and not for you.

Id have to disagree, if they did it for themselves, why isnt it an INTERNAL? They did it for us, and maybe the problem is releasing groups dont give a fuck what we say. Maybe they should!

quality is decent, color not as rich as eso's, but overall better, sound as well, its a movie with dmx so dont get your hopes up on a quality flick

Posted by Touvex on 03-04-2003 05:35 PM:

the film quality is good, but i guess can be better. 7/7/9

I am starting to seriously believe YOU ARE MAD. How can you say a release of the film that isn't direct to the screen, is a little slanted, has people walking up and down, is a little pixelated and grainy, is better than the CTP? The CTP is straight to the camera, has fantastic sound, isn't pixelated, and then again, what more can we ask for in a Telesync? There is a BIG difference between a great telesync and a group's greatest telesync. This was a great telesync, the ESO was the group's greatest, NOT greater than this. I suggest you watch it.

Posted by B18C5 on 03-05-2003 01:18 AM:

Sweet release! CTP is improving with each release but the blue tint is still there and colors don't seem as sharp as ESO's but the video is less pixelated for sure. Movie was a bit of a disappointment but I should have expected that. 8/8/8, it's funny how users went ballistic over the ESO version then when CTP released a better one a week later people are yelling CAM towards the ESO release. Both are valid TS's, one is just better.

Posted by Trickster on 03-05-2003 03:03 AM:

Just a quick question... maybe some people can answer.. Ive been a long time reader, and a very infrequent poster to the board. My question is why is it that whenever a Centropy release comes out there is an overwhelming response to it. Consistently they have the highest number of responses per movie. Just curious if there were any opinions on the matter.

Btw, I hated the movie, but I thought that it looked extremely good. Sound from Centropy rivals most screeners, and the vid is their typical blue, but slightly less noticeable this time.
Thanks
