-- Cradle 2 The Grave - SCREENER - VideoCD (http://forum.vcdq.com/showthread.php?threadid=16511)
Hmm... quality isn't great it gets pixelated at times, but considering it is widescreen I wonder if WB did their own telecine, then it got copied to a VHS? Whoever gets a real screener can just call it a proper so it is not a dupe. But props to VideoCD on the rls. I'll give it a 5(cuz of watermarks)/7/6

I mean Why?
I know i will get flammed for this, but like i really care, I know this is a screener, and yeah yeah all the mad props for the quick release but I mean come on I think the release by Centr0py looks way better perhaps the quality isnt as nice but the fact that it came out with no property of and blah blah is so much nicer.Yes I am aware it was a telesync and not a screener but bottom line is it was a more watchable release. People flame ctp for there svcds but the fact is this screener looks like shit compared to the ctp release.
I have said all i have come to say flamers flame on.
Um...where to start? Good job gettin' it done early! But, nah, I'm not too sure about the quality of this thing. I sat through the Centropy, didn't like the movie, but the eminem song rox! Action is pretty good, but the story is lame, and as I've said, DMX should be worryin' on his rap game and not his acting. He won't be a good actor, that graspy voice pisses me off in a movie, but not as much in rap. Also, he should stop smokin' so much pot!
I give this release a...5/7/4

As soon as they have Property of watermarks in the theatres
my point was why release a watermark plagued screener when there was a sweet telesync out a few weeks before. Like i said i knew i would get flamed but my point is valid, dont release a screener filled with watermarks and bad video when a earlier group released a better version.
no... the point realy isnt valid.. youre saying.. if centropy releases a movie.. people need not release anything else till a dvdrip? well fuck that! no matter how good a telesync is.. the sound will NOT be as good as a :: Screener ::.. most VHS screeners are THX enhanced.. and have DD.. dont get that in telesyncs... i understand what youre saying.. but its an invalid point
tis not a flame.. just a rebutle

quote:The bigger the TV, the bigger the watermark LOL. napalm you had a good point but there is a difference between releasing a good screener after a TS like TCF/RSP releases versus releasing what probably is a workprint/telecine with huge annoying watermarks plague'ing the video. Even good sound can't save this release.

ever try and fit a cdr up your butt sideways?
7: -=- nice audio..
6: -=- video leaves a little bit to be desired (ignored watermarks)
just dont try to watch this on a 15" Pionex monitor @ 800x600res
5-=- film: when rap stars become action stars its just another platform for them to force their bad "music" down your throat. I dream of the day I see Tool in a Drama/Action/Crime flix

all im sayin is
if its being nuked for bad quality, and the fact is this screener is just plain annoying bigger tv or not (just means bigger watermarks) my advice is dont dl this, the ctp telesync is better thats all i was tryin to say, no i am not a CTP member just a vetran who know noone wants to watch screeners filled with 15 different watermarks, on top of the fact the quality is that of a 2nd gen vhs, simply put dl the CTP version if u can, if you have no other option get this.
Flames or not i have lived in hell all my life a few more wont hurt.
i thought even the esoteric version was better

6/8/5
Good video spoiled by a buncha watermarks, but better than any other release out. Scr > Ts everytime.

VHS screeners usually always have tons of Watermarks. Anyone wonder why Warner Bros. put the Watermarks all over the screen?
