There is a slight angle in the movie, you can tell when you see text on the screen.

Nice release though. Keep it up CTP.

Talking wow

looks like a dvd....

Well I think I owe Centropy a personal apology. I used to bash Centropy for making TS releases into the SVCD format.

Still not my favorite format (because my resume function doesnt work on svcds, but only on vcds - lol) anyways, but your releases are beautiful.

I dont burn TS onto CD-R's, because I save my CD-R's for the SVCD DVDRips. I put my CAM/TS onto CDRW's, and my CDRW's are only 74mins, so my mission today is to go and find some 80min CDRW's. Hard to come across here.

I'll find them.

Watched 'Tears of the Sun' from you guys last night, and I was fucking amazed by the quality. Even my mom came in the room, and I told her this was a TS and she couldnt believe me.

So, thanks for the HOT releases, keep up the good work.

It ain't even possible to hate Centropy after this release. Their best in 2003, and the best TS in 2003.

Awesome quality/sound. Just like their releases last year I still think their release of spiderman has been their best release ever. I still have it on cd, can barely tell the difference between the dvdrip except i have a widescreen now.

Video is great. The color is sharp, crisp, and bright(er than most of CTP's releases). However, there IS a slight angle, but it's not really noticeable. You can tell not only by the text on the screen, but also in the upper left hand corner.

Audio is great, typical Centropy quality.

Great release, I rate this a 9/9/7.

Should have been labled proper...

CTP good release reminds me of yalls count of monte and yalls Blade Nothing to gripe about for free at VHS qual HELL YEah.. Buit oh well will be watching this wendsday at the movies. it is welll worth it. Nice fight scenes. .

Posted by Phlag on 03-17-2003 02:03 AM:

I knew I wasn't the only one who noticed the slight angle. It's even noticable in the sample JPG (top left).
Regardless of the angle, which isn't noticable 99% of the time, this is still the best TS of the year and then some.

Disk 1 is good all the way through,, and its not BLUE !! yay

And you can here what they are saying with this release..

7.5/8/7

Posted by m-drew on 03-17-2003 12:03 PM:

I just finished watching this release.

I couldnt stand the movie, and this rip was zoomed in a bit too much and on a slant. The audio seemed like it needed a bit more Trebble to it, or less bass. Overal, it was very watchable and much better then the GSN release.

Posted by vcdflow on 03-17-2003 02:34 PM:

Indeed

Movie went good with the wifey last night, even had some bass going through the surroud sound. Keep it up CTP

Posted by SainT on 03-17-2003 03:00 PM:

Lightbulb

Welp after eviewing the whole movie i must say its getting better.
Colors are little blured. Audio slightly hissy and to much bass. Just as a sugestion i think ctp needs a good wide angle lens and good seat instead of hiding the cam to get a crazy angle. All in all very nice. Keep up the good work.

:: Sorry to say this saint, but u must give it to them, this is the best ts ever, and u know it, pm me btw if u read this.

Posted by Davy on 03-17-2003 03:25 PM:

I just finished watching CD1, the movie itself seems a bit boring for my liking, slow etc, but the quality is amazing!
a very slight angle/tilt, no blue-ness (anyone else get why CTP's intro played "Eiffel 65 - Blue" ? ) Sound is amazing, Video is equally good. I tried to think of a critisism so i'm not just appearing to kiss-ass, the only thing i could think of is that some of the text appears slightly off-screen, but its not a big deal as you know what it says anyway.

Its not allowed to post 10/10/? so i'll have to post 9.5/9.5/4 (4 based on CD1 only).
