I bet ya that we will soon start seeing SVCD for Screeners if they aren't greater than a first generation tape. And now that there have been a bunchload of Telecines in SVCD as long as their source is good enough they will be SVCD. So in the end it breaks down to:

Silvers = VCD
Real TS's = SVCD
Real TC = SVCD

and I did look at the sample a few times, the sound is much better than ESO's and is not stolen from them. Who knows whos video that it really is. Both are very watchable and the SVCD is acceptable.. but not NEEDED. I'll give it a 6.5/6/?

*Sigh* Let me educate you a bit my ignorant friend, many homemade TS's are encoded as SVCD because the group chooses to use that format. Why? You ask? Because the source of homemade TS's (or at least CTP/TCF/UTi rels) are usually captured with high resolution dv camcorders so a superior format like SVCD is warranted. This does NOT necessarily mean the group will always use SVCD as we have seen with TCF/UTi homemade releases like the 8 Mile TS (which isn't a silver and still high quality). Many groups have encoded PDVD (classified as a silver because they are SILVERS) as SVCD so that eliminates your assumption that all silvers are vcd format. You may see some groups start ripping VHS Screener as SVCD but VHS Sources aren't high resolution so although the format may reduce pixelation it won't make the release look much better. You can compare some groups' VHS Screener SVCD's with some of TCF's VHS Screener VCD's and you can see that quality is in the hands of it's encoder.

I'm all for SVCD releases. You all have to remember, it always boils down to one thing: If you dont like it, dont get it. As for the rest of us that like the SVCDs, we are thankful that the groups make them available

Ok could they have possibly cut this movie in a worse spot i mean christ, some people need to really check where they are cutting these movies from first to second disks before release cause man that scene is so great and it just looses all it tension when you cut it in half, this group is so stupid.

crap in crap out... this release is not crap however to me anyway there seems to be very little wrong with the picture. it is clear and the angle is not pissed up like a lot of releases certain groups have been producing recently. im happy enough with the picture and the audio is fine too. it could obviously be better but it allways could when its a Telesync... nothing is ever quite perfect..
anyway i give it 7/7/? as i havent watched the whole film yet
