OK, the angle thing is stupid. I know the idots are going to go off with the it's free crap, but if I can't offer some constructive criticism then what's this quality forum for. Move back three rows. That's all it takes man, just a few rows. Then the next thing you know you're releasing top quality again. Until then I'm going to have to pass on this. I think I'd rather fix the brightness of one of the previous releases than watch that stupid angle. Can't believe I'm passing on a CTP release, but yeah this is unwatchable, once again in great color and clarity, with great sound, but still this is not what the movie looks like. I assure you there are no prosthetic chins on these people (maybe a nose if Nicole Kidman was in it, but nah). If you just want to know the story line, read the script, but if you want to see the film, watch a non-fisheye version.

yeay... CTP screwed up the angle again...

Ok..man..what did they film this threw..the peephole of the door at the theater? looks like fish eye. sound is good though. about 5 mins into it had to delete the thing. stolen from the land of the midgets theater.

But at the end of the day its a NUKE, and the reason for this is "worst angle ever"

first of all i really like to say how happy i am CTP is really back on track with many quality releases, and still not everything is perfect of course but they are all watchable, this one is too, thnx for the job & i hope to see a Phone Booth TS after the weekend

It's better than the other releases. The angle is annoying. Don't care. Don't wanna see the movie. Everyone else. Enjoy, it's the best release out there.

Ok... if you went to see this at the cinema, and you sat in the same seats... it'd look the same, so why bitch about it now. Dodgy angle shouldn't be a reason to nuke it, I've seen countless worse, and the colour and picture sharpness EASILY overcome the angle.

And what with ALL pirate releases,,, you get used to the quality. You can have the shittiest cam, but once you get in to the film you don't even notice till you switch off your dvd player and normal tv comes back on.

Anyway, easily a 7/9/?

My guess for all these stupid angles is that they move closer to the screen to get rid of the blue tint that are on most TS's.
But to get the right angle they could just but the camera on a high tripod closer to the screen instead of that "hiding on the second row" angle.
But keep up the good work Centropy, just try and get the angels fixed. Cant be that hard....

The angle thing is personal choice, some people think the great colours are more important.. others (like myself) will find that they are decreasing in quality with the angle.. either way they are still kicking some ass out there with their releases. They obviosly release for themselves so really our opinions aren't going to make a whole lot of difference.

Doesn't matter really about what it looks like. This movie is god awful. I watched the whole thing in the theater and was struggling to find a plot. I mean the movie didn't have a point to it. And I think they could have come up with a better ending.

.... these angles are bad. I always go for CTP releases over any other, but this one is bad. There is nothing else to see of it, so I guess Mr. Travolta is gonna get some money out of me, because I'm going to see it in theaters.

Wow if i watched this whole movie i would go nuts loking at that crazy angle. Please move back some maybe to the middle of the theater. 6/8/9

O.K. Tears I could see as a mistake. Then cmae The Core with the same crappy angle. Not this release. CTP used to release such kickin quality. Well, my opinion is that they seem to intentionally put out sub par quality now. These would be great releases accept for the nasty angular projection.

Well, good guess about sitting close to the screen to get rid of the blue tint. CTP's TS's come out a lot better because they get close enough to allow plenty of light into the camera. and their audio has always owned. they have some super hi-fi digitized quadrophonic spaceage microphone. i've seen it.. ok not really.

And i can't even begin to get into the 'put the camera on a tripod idea' /me shakes his head.

review time: This release is not as good as The Hunted in terms of video quality. I find myself comparing everything to that movie. 'Basic' seems a tad fuzzy and slighty grainy. The Audio is top notch as usual.
As far as the ANGLE. that's right folks. A-n-g-l-e, it's HARDLY visible. Go burn this rls and watch it on the tele. Also, Travolta look weird because he is JACKED. He bulked up for this movie which is part of the reason u think u see Jay Leno chin. Just look at his biceps.. gawd.
This is definitely worth the download if u dig action flix. i know i love guns and violence. but, i am an American.

This TS is completely unwatchable. I don't see how anyone could honestly give the video a 6+.

this release is a completely watchable ts... the angle isn't that bad just makes the faces big and cuts the mission status on the left side during the beggining of the movie, audio is great, theirs great color awsome job ctp

as for the movie its a little above average just because samuel jackson and john travolta are in it and it has a cool ending

Many CTP fans still in denial I was once one of you back when Star Wars Episode 2 SVCD TS appeared but you guys are honestly hanging on to the end of the rope. Once again, CTP you guys are a great group but flaws are flaws and I call em how I see 'em. Nice colors (as usual), angle getting worse and worse not to mention amount of cropping on the sides has increased dramatically. For those who think the angle is barely noticable, LOL... yea right, everything looks like a star wars intro 5/9/7

After watching the movie, THE ANGLE DOES NOT RUIN IT. I bet everyone of you that complain about the angle, never watch the movie other then the 40second sample. I dont see how it could ruin the movie as for the sharpness/color takes away from the angle. The angle is just like subtitles/watermarks, u loose site of it a quarter of the way through the movie..7/8/6..the ending was fabolous but was very confusing.
