Cleric all the way. Neo never did something as cool as throw a pair of magazines down in the middle of the guys he was gonna blast, and then mow them down and you gotta admint.. his reloading trick is friggin cool... and I haven't checked, but has Neo ever cut someone's face off? just a thought....

neo didnt use all his possiblilities yet, in reloaded im sure hes gonna show some more new fight arts, but cleric aint bad tho, i would say from far neo is better, if its a close fioght with like 5 enemys cleric is better

abilities - good with guns and swords and has a good fighting art form....

well since neo can stop bullets, clerics guns are no good.

(and how come people always complain about keanu`s acting? i never understood why people watch a film and pick out tiny little things...watch the film for the film, yeah complain when the acting is proper shite, and really bugs u, but reeves is funny and good in the bill and teds-dont see how his acting can ruin the whole film, and the matrix-who even notices acting abilities in that? and ive seen it as much as others, ok thats my rant for the week, thanx)

Who said the fighting styles don't apply to Neo in the "real world". He knows Kung Fu. That doesn't mean just in the Matrix.. so really, Either way Cleric is matched for that. Plus, Cleric would already be in the Matrix. He never left..

Cleric would win no doubt.....his skills with a gun are a million times better thanb neo...and hes more realistic in the sense that he doesnt fly and do stupid shit like neo....cleric without a doubt would WIN!

i dont know what to say..but i think CLERIC won! the battle

I just watched Equilibrium, and saw Cleric. Holy, shit. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. That movie was not only great, with fantastic acting, it had a real plot and some sweet ass action going on. Cleric is the damn man. Overall Neo could still take him, but if they took him out, Cleric, and he still knew all he does in the movie, Neo would be a faceless body. Damn.
