Movie was badass... and I thought it made sense (just me). It is great. I went to see it in theatres and liked it alot. This release isnt bad.
6/6/10

just grabbed the sample.
downloading cd1.

from the sample:

the video is pretty nice. it's widescreen. it doesnt look like theres to much cropping (if any). the outdoor scene was kinda blue, but thats because it's a dark scene. when it cuts to the inside, the colours are pretty clean and shapes are well defined with no fuzziness.

the audio is kinda low, and slightly echoed. but turning the volume up fixes everything.

movie: cant tell till i get the whole thing, but it does look very exciting

just like to repost now that i have watched the full release. i must say that the movie really blew my mind, and I will probably have to watch it again to let it sink in. I believe it to be a mislabeled cam because you can hear the audience saying "me too" and laughing and stuff. There is the top of a head in the lower left corner for a few min, and the sound is kinda messy in the beginning as well. also the cammer puts his hand partly over the cam at one point. the release is fully watchable and a more than exceptable first release for the movie. I would like to see who can release a proper because this is pretty damn good.

Yeah good release had its' falts, but better than average. Saw the movie in theaters though, SWEET If you are really excited about seeing this like i was then go to theaters, this release could do fine for some people.

Picture quality isn't the best, but is better than most telesyncs. Sound could be a problem, seems to be of subpar quality so it makes this an iffy release to get. Watchable overall, and I hope RSP releases more of these (preferrably with improved audio) in the near future. 7/5/?

judging from sample

sound sux
video is decent enough for a TS
will wait for Proper or better

Judging from film

It's a cam.But a fairly decent one.Pretty good film but you need to concerntrate on it all the way through to understand it.Ray Liotta is one of my favourite actors but he does lower his standards and appear in low quality films, this is not one of them.7.5/6/?

I dont think this should be rated as high as it is. Its typical of ts which means its a mid range average/ low quality--certainly not worthy of a 7 in anything. 5's across the board at best.

Posted by MQ-James on 04-27-2003 04:25 PM:

Not too bad for a first attempt 7/6/? slight angle? watchable none the less

Posted by SharkeysMachine on 04-27-2003 05:05 PM:

Okay just finished watching the whole thing. It starts out rough as stated above, hand over the cam bad sound etc. but it straightens out nicely around 18 min's in. Great movie imo, kept me guessing and had no clue what was going to happen next. Nice release, It's very watchable once you get past the first 15 mins of bad audio

7/7/9

Head in corner

Does it not bother anyone else that there is some dude in the bottom right corner of the movie for a good 8-10 mins. At one crucial scene in the very begining the voices are so garbled that you can't understand what they are saying. Then all the sudden 10mins later the sound cleans up and the picture gets slightly better. Wait for a better release. Man these formus would be so much more helpful if only people who had seen the release(not just the jpg downloaded from here) posted.

OK I don't know if half the people here didn't really watch it or what (I understand judging oon the sample, but you should prolly let people know that's what you're doing). Anyway, the sound for the first 10 minutes or so is completely unhearable. It has some sort of hiss so you can't understand anything at all, then it pops in and it's low, but you can at least understand them. For the first five minutes the camera is angled up at the ceiling. Then after about 15 minutes he starts hiding the camera with his hand for a few seconds (bearable). Then let's talk about the guys head down in the lower left hand corner.
And by the way, telesync my ass. It seems at first they were trying to TS it (thus all the buzzing and hissing), but I think they just unplugged the thing and gave up cause then you can hear all the little Pokemon laughing in the background and shit after that (that's what it sound like to me, watching in a theater full of Pokemon). At least these people are speaking English though, so I can try to listen to their conversations as a novelty, but that's not what I'm looking for in a TS.
Whoever said the colors are good are lying. It's a dark movie so I understand, but most of it looks blue. Their pink faces are colored but all of their clothes are in the blue/black range and the cars are all black and well, basically everything else in the flick (including most of the blood, etc.) was either black or blue. But man they got some pretty pink faces.
It seems like a good flick though, I'm finishing it now. In any case, I'm gonna go with Video 4 (average for a TS/Cam with dull colors but it's a dark movie and somewhat grainy and lose points for the guys head and camera at the ceiling) Audio a 3 (it's pretty screwed up at the beginning which is the part that explains why they are all there so I'm disappointed and ratying this sound on a TS scale it should get a 0 cause it's got an awful lot of people talking into the hard of hearing jack) and movie I'll wait to rate.
MrSin
PS-I know I'm writing essays in my latest posts, but I appreciate the long winded ones so I can actually see what a release is about before I d/l it. For those who don't like it, maybe you could invest in a scroll mouse and skip me faster.

you people must be high.

I just watched the first 20 minutes of DISC 1 and shut it off.

Lets see:

The sound is crap.

The video is slightly better then crap and theres a HEAD in the frame (lower left hand corner).. not a small head either. A big fat HEED.

I give this 4/3/?

i'd rate the movie but I now have to get the CTP version.

The picture in the "actual movie" looks NOTHING like that jpg folks.

Video was ok but I couldnt finish it the sound was bad
I even heard the people talking on disk1? lol

Cam..

sounds of laughter, popcorn being crunched, and a fat head..

but props to group.

I found it to be average all round. Sketchy in some places, but fully watchable. Takes a while for camera to get sorted at the beginning but after that its fine.
