It amazes me that POS TS's with angles get 8's and then this release with a no angle sample gets 8's. People do not know how to judge ( mainly stupid lil kids like yourself who have nothing better to do).. ANd fuck up the reviewing process for the rest of us. If this were any other group, shit like that would be gettin 3-5's . Yet beyond belief, Timmoy, you are so glued to their ass, that its an 8 regardless. WHy not just forgoe even posting centropy's releases because to hell if we are even going to get an honest review.

The angle of the release should not have any effect on how you rate the video quality. IMO the defintion of video quality is how good the colors are, and if the video is clear. yes the angle does take away from the quality of the movie overall, but it doesnt affect how clear the video is and so on.
...anyways, onto the release. i must say this is a model of a perfect ts. ctp has finally mastered the art of svcd ts's. hope this isnt a one time thing. lets just keep our fingers crossed for matrix releoaded. 9/9/0 (i hate eddie murphy)

Video refers to quality. Hence Bad AR, tilted angle, bad colors, bad pic.. all go under video.. Video is general for what is quality of pic. Hence a shitty angle is reflective of pic. Whether or not the video quality is good, the picture angle is not. Hence a low rating.

yep, definately grab this baby

very clear sound, very good picture, definately the way t/s should be done

many thanks centropy, keep up the good work

i think the way they capture the audio is spot on, i dont think its a direct source because of the slight hiss, and the boom mic's that come into shot

why oh why oh why oh why oh why cant all telesyncs be done this way

w00t , amazing colors , great sound , CTP ROXX

hope to see more Telesync´s in this unbelievable qualy

Great rls.

9/8/?

Now if only we could get ctp to break apart and all their skilled members bring the knowledge to make work like this to all the other groups. That way we wouldn't have just one group release good stuff. More groups doing it the right waymeans a larger quantity of good shit we can get. Sucks groups compete tho, otherwise they would just share all they know and advance the entire scene to an entirely new level. ah well thats only in a perfect world.

props ctp, great job

How many actually downloaded full movie

Seems like no one actually got the full release. Judging by sample is ok but damn come on at least spend some time and watch the damn thing. Video is awesome, sound is clear, (didn’t hear buzz), Movie is 7. Seems if you actually watched someone would have mentioned the boom mic caught in a couple of shots. Nice to see another quality rip.

Enjoy

Video - 9
Sound - 9
Flix - 7

Unhappy workprint not a TS

Just finnished watching both cd's and I belive this is maybe a workprint one instance at 9:26 on cd 1 there is a boom mic clearly visable, also at 10:30 cd 1,again at 13:01(huge mic in the top on the screen .And many more times throughout the movie. I think this is maybe the reason for the FS instead of WS, might of been rencoded to a different aspect ration to get out some of the mics. Now i enjoyed this as much as the next guy and centrophy is doing a great job, But It's not a TS.

it is, and this has been covered a million times. if it was a WP the angle wouldn't be off would it (and it would most likely be timecoded or stamped)

yes pho but have you watched the release? there are multiple times during the movie where you can see boom mics up on the top, go to 12:15 in and look above murphy, youll see them. i dont know what this means, are they getting the theater to themselves so they can get mics that close to the screen? seriously take a look at the release, go about 9 minutes in and watch for a few minutes looking up top, also another noticeable one is when they are sitting at the dinner table, about 10-11 mintues in. all i can say is i hope this can be done again for reloaded.

I gave it a 9/9/6

Almost looks like a vhs screener. The movie is kind of funny. There are definatly some good parts in it but they should have made Kevin Nealon's part a bit funnier.

Posted by lo.pro on 05-18-2003 08:54 AM:

heh the boom mikes are most likely not from CTP mic'ing the sound (it's possible, i guess, but i seriously doubt it). they are most likely in the original film, which was probably shot on super 35. with super 35, the actual picture size is larger (vertically) than you see on the screen in the theatre; this allows them to later make a FS version without cutting off the sides of the pic (which means, btw, that the argument about wide screen being better because it has more picture doesn't always apply; when a film is shot on super 35, generally the FS version actually contains more of the picture). usually when you see a movie in theatres that was shot on super 35, the projector has a lens shield on it that blocks off the top and bottom parts. my guess (just a guess) is that their source for these releases sometimes gets super 35 stuff but they're screening it on a regular projector; therefore, the boom mics etc, which would normally be cut off, can be seen in their TS's.

*shrug* that's what i think, anyway. if you can't picture what i'm talking about re: super 35, look at the pictures from 'air force one' toward the bottom of this page, and you should get a better idea: http://www.thedigitalbits.com/artic...reenorama2.html

Talking

WOW!

Now this is the Centropy that we know and love - they rock! Awesome picture and sound. Good movie for the kids.

Occasionally seeing the microphone at the top of the screen makes me think that they're getting them how they used to - like Scooby Doo. Cool!

Can anyone explain the bit of what I assume is Japanese after their logo?
