-- X69 laid off..... (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=19840)

I just got laid off also, I worked for roadrunner and was on FMLA because my wife was in the hospital for about a 1 1/2 months, i had gave the paperwork for FMLA to my doctor to fill out and fax to Time warner, well they fucked up somehow ,lost the paperwork and never sent it in, and instead of calling or emailing me my chicken shit mgr fires me. So, I guess i'll collect unemployment for awhile just to make those fuckers put out more money.

Good luck with the job hunt, IT jobs are becoming a bitch to hold here in the states, I know Roadrunner tier 2 now is outsourced to canada.

I got fired, I worked for AXA insurance and they buggered me and another of my colleagues, two weeks before the redundancies came up we were called up and given the ultimatum resign (not take voluntary redundancy ) or we will have to fire you......... :S I got escorted off the premises and had my box of stuff thrown in the busy road.

Anyway enough about me

all the best in your job search
