Way to spoil the fucking movie.

Pearl Harbor, but not just the ending... just everything AFTER the Pearl Harbor scene. Up until then the movie was pretty damned good... the bombing sequence was amazing.

One time, my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up on the news, it was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week he did it again, different cat, same results, complete with another trip to the emergency room! So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to ‘em "Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your just gonna get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?" And he says to me "Brodie, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?" My cousin was a weird guy....

Gotta agree with the new "Planet of the Apes" nominations. I thought "Event Horizon" concluded in a similarly bad way, but at least it didn't spoil the whole movie. And "The Black Hole" was way fucked up at the end, but I can't decide if it was in a good way or not ... I was rather sickened by the ending to "Good Will Hunting" too, but at least it made that god-awful movie stop, for which I will be ever grateful.

shhhh, Xero ... no spoilers.

I do agree with you, though, that the end of HULK was awful, as was the rest of the movie.

I watch alot of movies as im sure everyone else here does but i think that without narrowing it down to one movie the most dissappointing endings come from movies like Matrix 2 where there is a To Be continued and then you have to wait a couple of months to see the dam conclusion. Just like having sex and stopping half way through.

Take a few weeks off, and all goes to Shit, Movie will the All Time Most Disappointing Ending Award Goes to: The Lord of The Ring: The Fellowship of the Ring, WTF is that when you sit through three hours of the most amazing cinema to come to an end, where you see Frodo and Sam walk through the mountains, and having the movie end there. At least in The Matrix Revolutions, you have known from the start that there would be a To Be Continued thingy on it, cause Matrix Revolutions is coming up.

That is why Director Peter Jackson, re-edited LOTR:TTT, because many of the test audiences, who saw the original edit, saw that he was going to do that again, actually booed at all the pre test screenings of this movie.

one of the worst movies i have ever seen. ending revealed what was really going on. and when it was revealed, it was the most lame tie-up to a film's plot.
i cannot believe this film was made.

It was ended brilliantly, no matter how much they disliked the end, it boosted book sales a TON and made everyone die in anticipation to see the sequel

yeah, I don't see how FOTR could have had a better ending. that's where the book ends, so that's where the movie should end. and everyone knew that it was the first part of a trilogy unless they had been locked in a cave for the previous two years.

You are my fucking hero! Finally, I've found someone that didn't think much of Good Will Hunting. And the fuckers never even wrote the damn thing.

Well both the crap of the rings movie sucked and so did their endings.

And ofcourse also The Matrix Reloaded. What an ending. That's gotta be the worst ending EVER. Even worse then LOTR.

matrix reloaded's ending was like, empire strikes back except shorter with out a bunch of other extra crap happening. like, "Luke, I am your father," roll credits, the end.

I cannot disagree more. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

I enjoyed the plot, the twists, I thought the acting was great, and I loved the ending.

Wait a minute here, I think you lost me.

Are you saying you DIDN'T like the ending to Empire strikes back?

Because if you are, your opinion has a fecal odour.

Worst ending? Boxing Helena.

And I think movie of Fellowship Of The Ring ends a fair few pages after the book does - the battle with the Orcs happens at the beginning of The Two Towers. I could be wrong, though.

Wtf are you on? There has never been a big budget trilogy done quite like Lord of the Rings. Basically, the whole world disagrees with you. FOTR and TTT have appealed to all kinds of people. There are Tolkien geeks like there are Hulk geeks, there are people that watch it because of the action, people that grew up reading the trilogy, people that watch it for the acting, people that watch it for the CGI, and yes, even people that watch it solely for Orlando Bloom. I know people that watched it for historical value too. (Hitler = Saramond and there's more symbolism)

with all fairness even to what i said about what movie i thought was the worst ending to a movie i have to say that you are something close to a retard.....ill explain why.

Going into both movies you had to know that they werent the end all tell all to the series having said that the way they ended could have been better but then again it wasnt the end and as far as the movies themselves being bad how much crack have you been smoking before you post this could one of the best visual adaptations to one of the best trilogies ever written but thats my 2 cents and you might think im the one smoking crack but hey its cool

I don't think your stupid or anything. I just stated my opinion and i don't care if the world dissagrees with me I don't like waiting 6-12 months to watch another part of a movie. I'd like the whole story in one piece. If you feel that is stupid then that's your meaning and i don't care how you think about me.

I do think that's stupid. Think about the studios. There's no way Peter Jackson would have released all three at once. That's bizarre, 9 hours of film? Are you nuts? 3 hours is fine, 9 isn't. If Peter Jackson waited 3 months, the film would have had no stabilization in the box office. The way Jackson and New Line are doing it is fine with me. I can wait, and I'm glad I am. Plus, it gives me time to read over the LOTR trilogy anyways, so there.
