I haven't seen the sample yet or anything... but just going by the picture it's AR is a little off... and if I'm the only one who sees that then the rest of the world has problems... just for bad AR that knocks off 3 point from the picture.

Hmm.. I see a little 'dark shadow' on the top right of PV's release but not on TCF's. Are you sure they are the same?
I dont really see any similarities.

Is it worth downloading if you already have the TCF version ? ,... as ive just got the TCF version.

Posted by ZIGGYY on 06-15-2003 05:43 AM:

to or not to

Haku

if u plan on watching it lots yes the sound is cleaner but if your not going to watch it 20 times in the next week i wouldn't waste the time d/l it

even though this release is great and all, its a little late as i have already burnt a couple copies of this horrible movie and im not about to burn another

so if you have the tcf id stick with it

top left side 1/4 the way over approx go look at same area of tcf rls it has same glich it is 2 black dots (burn marks on the film)

The Cigar Burns are present on Cam/Telesync movies as it's filmed in the cinema and they are there to show when the next reel of film is about to start for the projectionist.

Recode? Doh!

either they filmed this rls same theater same showing as the tcf's crew did or they just plain ripped it off of tcf and re-encoded it
the odds of them being in same theater same showing are what a few million to one

so i will say re-encode

i compared the frams on a program that shows ya single frams and u can put them side by side and over lap them and they were 100% the same

Please.. if someone can teach me how to re-encode this good, tell me

The TCF has less quality. How would they get it so much sharper and neater looking if the source file has blurry image?

this is a fucking great ts, one of the best ive ever seen.
there it is, the (hopefully) beginning of your greatness Pv.
very very impressive, honestly i dont see any angle, but the AR is a bit off OR the sides are cut. One of them, because its more like 16:9 than 2.35:1 (which im sure is the true AR)

Just squeeze the picture to 16:9 and u have the perfect AR!!
So don´t complain about not being OAR, get a tv with 16:9 why don´t ya.
To bad i watched nox version before, if i knew this would have come i would have waited

Awesome ws pic and nice sound.

Posted by Rep- on 06-15-2003 01:43 PM:

Best TS ever? Umm. You must not look at very many TS'. Bruce Almighty was amazing, as well as Finding Nemo. This release doesn't even compare to those two. And this is a little pixelated, specifically around 51-54 seconds in the sample as they are rolling over. Ok release, but nowhere near best TS.
