Is this a good recommended movie to watch?

Cool

sound is very clear, pic is a little flickering but overall better rls than logistic's and 2cd's, about the proper stuff.. they just feel they don't need that kinda tags cause much places have svcd.ts from ctp allowed or not anyways, those places will take a dupe cause it's almost always much better

7/8/?

nice rls... the colour is a bit faded... but the sound deffinitely makes up for it bigtime... keeep em' coming CTP
8.5/9/?

you could have labeled it Hollywood.Homicide.TS.SVCD-Centropy *NUKE* *DUPE* but as long as ctp releases it you know its not because of the quality it gets this tag. Maybe ctp should put proper or internal but their releases (until very recently with nox and pv and logistic) they have had little competition and they have constantly provided top quality ts's so they had little reason too. i doubt people will not spread this even if it was nuked so go ahead and nuke or dupe it if you must.

8/8

great job ctp two releases in one day keep it up!

Jesus, I just can't see why CTP wouldn't label this a PROPER, or maybe even INTERNAL. When they broke the rules for SVCD TS's, I was pretty pleased with their experimentation. But seemingly intentionally fucking up something as simple as proper labeling just seems like a lack of respect to the other groups, who I might add are approaching CTP quality. Same goes for a few other recent CTP releases.

7.5/8/4

Posted by Asterisk on 06-18-2003 12:33 AM:

Like most of the other centropy releases recently it is technically a dupe, so it should be nuked.

It's up to sites to nuke it, not anyone in particular, so if sites wanna nuke it they can, but most will allow it, just caus it's centropy and they know it's in demand.

Centropy will be allowed on sites regardless of what they label their releases, but I do agree they should start labelling properly, just to avoid confusion.

omfg, another dupe by CTP, go figure, if they cant get their shit out fast enough, face the facts, twis what iNTERNAL is for, bout time i seen em get nuked.

As far as Hollywood Homicide goes 8/8/? Not their best work but still up to their standards :-)

Posted by Venom_IL on 06-18-2003 06:29 AM:

Thumbs up

Personally, I think CTP are making a statement...
that they dont give a shit about nukers and scene rules

i seem to recall they rlsd something with great quality and labaled it INTERNAL for no apparent reason, just for fun

im also pretty sure they said in their nfo somewhere something like nukers, nuke away.. etc

they simply dont care
they know they're the best in what they do, so why should they

would irc channels stop serving them because they broke some rules, even though their rls are the best ?

i dont think so..

thats my opinon, anyways..

lovely jubbly - just checked the quality and its the usual ctp vibe. Nice colours, pic & audio. Props on another great svcd.
8/7/?

Posted by rodney on 06-18-2003 12:53 PM:

this release is the best one out though it should be nuked. if ctp cant get it out fast enough then they should label it at least proper if not internal. if this was any other group with the same quality release (some groups are nearly up to par with ctp now anyway) it would have been nuked for being a dupe but oh well.

8/9/8 standard ctp release though it did seem a little pixelated

Centropy is just becoming snobish. It's as if they are worried about loosing their position in the VCD scene. Lots of groups are experimenting with SVCD TS's and producing very good results, many just as good as Centropy's. For centropy to release an SVCD TS after another group has, with no reason(proper, internal, etc) shows they have no respect for other groups, or the rules of the VCD scene. As of late I have lost my respect for Centropy. They are no longer bringing the best quality releases, but rather releasing pointlessly after other groups have released the same thing.

as i was reading through these posts venom_il basicliy said what
i was going to say. Centropy rules and alwasys has!
Further more ctp has been on top for i dont know how long and no group can touch their acomplishments.
i dont think that they care about scene rules, and as far as their releases are concned neither do i or any of the sites i patronize.
this release was substandard to a normal ctp rls.
