i think most people seem to not realise the 2nd centropy print was an entirely different print altogether. both video and audio were new, not just the audio, so there was no angle problem on the dvdr.

i think i'll stick to 6ch audio with no discswap personally

Awesome release, video's colors are a bit funky, but overall great, the sound is taken from the dvdr, so it is also excellent (be aware though that it wont be 5.1 because this is an svcd). It goes slightly out of sync from time to time (judging from sample), but it doesn't bother me that much, Ill definately be picking up this release. Anyways
Vid: 8
Sound: 9(woulda been 10, if no sync issue)
Movie: 9

Unhappy Sync Sound?

How do you sync sound to real time, does anybody know anygood software which can do that besides wmp for xbox?

Posted by mew on 06-26-2003 09:30 PM:

pHo: knowing it's released by Replica, a dvdr group, it would make sense if they put out a dvdr on it.

Very good vid, colors not 100% natural but still good-looking. A bit dark in some scenes but overall alot better than earlier ones.

The few small desyncs didn't bother me much, hardly noticed actually.

Thumbs up

Good work Replica. The colors are too saturated, but if you lower the color saturation on your TV it's fine.

LOL. APM's Matrix Reloaded release was a vcd encode of Centropy's SVCD, so APM's audio is actually a downgraded version of Centropy's audio.

Nah was just saying that maybe they will rls a DVDR of it, wouldn't surprise me since Replica is a DVDR group.

prolly a bad idea arguing with a mod while still not having posted more than 10 posts without even knowing anything about the release the thread is about except for the sample but what the heck ...

look closely again at the picture of the dvdr ts ... is is exactly the same picture ... id suggest you make screenshots of a scene wherer you can see lines on the botttom and on the left and reight boundaries of the picture ... what you will notice that the left/right angle of the pic is exactly the same as on the svcd ... secondly you will notice more and more of the pic is missing on the sides as you move your eyes upwards ... quote: as you are undoubtedly gathering the picture was streched trapeziodal ... the picture is also streched verticaly but thats also only something to fix the angle ... this is all something that tgsc usually does with bad angles (and i cant really understand why cts releases still got bad angles anymore after tgsc showed them how to fix it) ...

as for this release ... as i said i cant really comment on it but from the sample ... picture is really nice (as you would expect from a tc) colors look a little odd but could be the overall lighting theme of the scene ...

as for the sound .... seem slightly out of sync ... i think from reading the commets form others here who have watched more of this id guess they took the svcd sound from ctp and missdid the sync on the points where ctps has a cd change (one here said it goes out of sync on the scene with the oracle which is exactly after a cd change) if so i cant really understand why the diddn use the 5.1 tgsc sound but ... whatever ... could also be a problem of their video ... missing frames or something like it ...

Just finished watching CD 1

Video is a little blurry. I would've liked it a little sharper.
Not enough contrast. Darks are not dark enough. Lights are not light enough.

Audio sounds very clear and good but is out of sync.

Movie. Not enough blood and bruising and too much talk. And that rave scene. ugh!

Ok, I thought a TC was supposed to be BETTER than a TS? lol

You know, I really can't rate this release very high.

1) There are already too many TS's of Reloaded out there that are decent quality (especially APM and Centropy).

2) Come on, guys - MONO sound? You could have done much better for a TC (and SHOULD have, for an unnecessary release like this...)

3) Picture isn't any better than Centropy's TS (and I'd go so far to say it's slightly worse...)

Again, NOT from the sample. I've watched the whole thing. I don't know how people can give the audio here a high score (unless, of course, they are only judging by the sample, freaking idiots). It's slightly out of sync (only slightly, though), not all that crisp, and is MONO... I mean, hell, they could have just put the mono audio track through both left and right when they encoded this...

*Judging from sample*

Nice release. Audio has no flaws exept from the mentioned SMALL desync.

Video is kind of dark, and a little blurry. But this is alot better than any telesync.

Mono? Quit smoking your weed dude. It's been confirmed that the audio is from centropy 5.1 mix, so unless that one is mono this isn't either.

If you even watched the sample you could tell its stereo. Or do you imply that sample is stereo but release is mono? :P
