Unhappy

5 mins of the beginning has been cut off but overall the movie is good.....like what everyone else says the video and audio is superb!......keep up the good job tcf! u own in screeners =)

From Sample

Video : Great quality here as you would expect. Pixilation and blur is almost nill. Fullscreen with no counter? I'll take it!

Audio : Good volume balance, clear sounds, no hiss.hum.buzz.

Based on VHS screener, I rate this movie highly - TCF seems to have perfected the art of VHS Screeners. Very well done!

8.5/8/7

good point!
i said that, meaning that screener releases dont get any better than TCF!
Not that this release deserves a 10/10/
a 10/10 rating would make it look like im sucking TCF nutz.
Almost.

Giving 10/10 is saying there would be no room for improvement. The fact that this release is missing a major part of the movie bothers the hell out of me. To not find out any of the brief history to me makes this film imcomplete and worthy of a nuke. I'll keep ctp and wait for retail. What a waste. And I like TCF a lot. Oh well, f-it

8/9/10-4 = 6 because missing beginning

Just an observation not a complaint

Yes it should have, and this angered me, but I got over it.

Really great release...but the beginning is so essential to the rest of the movie. If the beginning were just some fish swiming around I really wouldnt complain. But the rest of the movie refers back to that 5 mins in the beginning around 8 times. Really tremendous quality...but I'll stick to my centropy copy.

Finished checking this release out last night... I really don't see what's so great about the quality, slight motion blur during some scenes, and you can tell it's not from a original screener.. in fact it's not a screener at all, looks more like someone tapped into a Hotel Pay-Per-View and copied it, that's most likely why there are no Watermarks or counters... when have you ever seen Disney release a screener that doesn't have them?

Video Quality is fair.... for what I think the source most likely is.. it should have been better.... I've seen better telesyncs.

Audio is nice though....

7/8/9

This has to be a nuked released...

O.k. the video and picture is so great....... But if something is missing is has to be nuked...

Imagine someone cut off the head of the Mona Lisa...

But anyway... best release of the movie so far.. good job on that

Thanx

The movie itself isnt cut. The pixar short is. I wonder why tcf didnt include it, unless it only makes it to retail dvd in extras. I hope someone gets the short lol on this. That was one funny short. But movie itself isnt missing 5 minutes, the short is missing. <_--------------I FUCKED UP. IT IS MISSING SHIT, I WASNT CAREFUL WHEN I CHECKED MPEG. I SAW OPENER AND SCROLLED REAL FAST, I WAS TIRED. SORRY. PERSECUTE ME..

Posted by Infinity on 08-08-2003 11:19 PM:

Great picture and sound, but the begenning is cut - as several other users have mentioned.

Posted by jrw on 08-08-2003 11:39 PM:

You guys overhype releases like no other , the video quality on this release is GOOD but not *that*great either, its got a slight blur to it and 5 minutes of the f*cking intro are missing , I nuked this one off my HD quickly ..Centropys release is still #1.

just my .02 cents.

Posted by mastermynd on 08-09-2003 12:12 AM:

The short is cut AND the beginning of the movie is cut too. Download only if you mind the missing beginning, it is a pretty crucial point in the story.

8/8/9-4 (missing beginning)=5

Uhhh.. have we been smoking something ????

There's nothing missing??

How about the first part of the movie that sets up the whole story?? Where Nemo's soon to be parents are excited about getting a new home.. and they are looking over the eggs that are going to hatch.. the father wants to name half of them Marlin Jr. and the other half Coral Jr... at which time the mother says she wants to name them Nemo, and he tells her she can name 1 Nemo.. and then the Barracuda or whatever it is attacks them and when Marlin wakes up the mother is gone and only 1 egg remains.. which he decides to name Nemo.....

Pretty big piece of movie missing... maybe not 5 mins.. probably 4 & 1/2

The short was a 3 minute feature before the movie started about a snowman trapped in a snow globe....

This release should be Nuked for being incomplete...........

It is missing the beginning. Short is not there, but who cares. I downloaded for the whole movie not a partial. Nuke.
