-- Freddy vs Jason - WORKPRINT - NOX (http://www.vcdhq.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=26372)
Not sure what rls everyone is watching but I personally thought this release was awesome for a workprint, or so so for a screener...but defiantly the best rls out yet. Colors are good unlike TCR's TS which sucked horribly. The sound is crisp. Sure you have the blurred serial block on the left side of the screen but come on...its a workprint...what do you expect. And the counter is also very common in this type of release...If you don't like it..go see it at the god damn theater...as far as the movie goes...a DVD Rip isn't going to help this baby...its still going to be a waste of Film.
Anyway I say good Job NOX...keep it up

well looks good except for what ever is blocked out half way up the left side and the randomly placed counter.... now workpoints are vhs?

Whats with all the fuctards?
So many fewls bitching about the quality of this rls. And saying its late for a workprint. Just came out in theatres here a few days ago. Only issue with this release it the blurring on the left, and the counter. Maybe it is a copy of a copy of a copy. But I'd take that over any TS any day! People need to stop and think about what they are really saying here. Sit down, Shut up, and enjoy the movie. :P
My 2 cents

Fantastic party movie, decent video and very good audio. Since FvsJ most likely won't get a theatrical release here in Germany, this release was well worth th download, at least untl the DVD (or a DVD-Screener/- Rip) comes along
Wow this is a nice release, good audiom and the blur on the left is not too bad when u get in it, im used to timers on the bottom so it looks goodm watched the TS last night that was not bad, i will watch this soon, and i thought the movie was really good
Wow
New here btw

Audio is perfect, I did not have any problems to watch this on tv, not even in the dark places, the serial blur and the timer is pretty annoying but you get used to it, is it just me or does it lack on FPS in some parts?
This is a pretty good rip, but it does have problems. The serial and counter are unavoidable, but a/v is a little sketchy. A/V would have been better if this were...say...an SVCD rather than the weak and inferior format of VCD. Best one so far, but ill stick to the TCR version due to lack of counter and serial, plus it fits my tv better. NOX does good work, but next time try to use SVCD
I prefer the NOX release to the TCR.
1) The picture is widescreen! Finally I can see all the details on the side.
2) The sound is a lot better!
3) The contrast is much better, details are more recognizable.

nothing wrong with this rls imho good sound decent picture dunno where ppl r getting that its blocky from maybe they should stop watching it on their p90 laptop serial blur doesnt bother me its either a blur or take the TS where you cant see shit. Whoever said this is late ummm late as in what?? there's been 2 telesyncs and no workprint so a fully justified rls, and on a plus side this wp seems to be complete so mad props this'll do til dvd.

If this were a cam svcd wouldnt be necessary, but anything better than a cam is better as an svcd
Some people complain too much!
I honestly don't give a hoot what format it is. SVCD or VCD What does it matter? If you want to see the realease bad enough, you will get it.
If SVCD is better quality, It don't matter. It is VCD cause that is what the group decided to do. So I think we should deal with it before they stop releasing movies at all.
People would get this release if it was on 5 cd's just because it is the best version out there and Just to watch the movie and enjoy it.
I am one of those people.
I can't rip movies myself and I will not pretend to know what I am talking about cause I am still a newbie. So I will deal with whatever format they give me.

It does have a bit of blur and I have seen better colors in a workprint.
Sound is Excellent.
I loved the movie.
Got both versions, couldnt watch the TCR version because it was too dark but the WP was very watchable, brilliant movie.

cropped vs no-cropped
This film is a pretty good workprint. I dont see the big deal people are making over the quality. As said b4, you forget the timer and minor serial block are even there. At least i can see the whole picture, and its quite watchable.
However I feel that the very end of it is cut short. It isnt untill i see the beggening of the credits, that i know that the movie is over. But this release doesnt wait until the credits roll, and i cant help feel that i may have missed something. Anyways.

Never mind about the cut short part, my player must have ended it sooner.

the violence factor of this movie really gives its edge, cuz it definitely aint the story line..lol. That said, this movie was pretty cool.
