real smart
I guess all you guys that (bob)and (neal) for ctp are really happy.Wheres all the props for ctp lovers. Or are most of you upset because you cant watch svcd form?Dont cry! What kind of a brain (ctp)has? Dont they know that 22% of players accept svcd format.Duh! Stickto basics, with vcd! Stop looking for all those ball licker groupies praise. Just a thought! Joe
I RULE YOU DROOL
I cant believe episode 2 attack of the clones came out 1 week before the movie, but was nice to watch it.
Im looking foward to watching this new guy movie, i love comedy's
centropy SVCD TS's.. suck.. im sorry.. but when half the people out there can't even play them, that is sad, learn how to encode them properly, or go back to VCD's PLEASE!!

Centropy, release (SVCD)
Just watched this. Another great release, the color is good (much better than the spiderman). It seems to many people are complaining about the enode to svcd. That's to bad, maybe they need to get with the times and get a dvd player that supports svcd instead of complaining. Anyway that's my two cents, great release Centropy!!
Chris
You lamers that bitch about high-quality releases being on SVCD make me laugh so hard, how fucking pathetic. Even if your mom is on welfare and your dad steals hubcaps for a living, the Apex AD-1500 is less than 70 bucks! Plays everything you can throw at it. Jesus christ, get a job.
Apart from that, if your crack habbit takes up ALL your income, someone already posted info here on how to make SVCD play as VCD:

Props to Centropy for great quick release with this movie, and for some of the best quality releases in the scene. I am more than happy that they are doing whatever they can to push the envelope and provide better quality product, for us, for free. And still you lamers whine.... amazing.
Cheers to those who contribute intelligent, worthwhile posts on here, it's appreciated.
I think their VCDs were worse though, horible sync problems on my apex.
Well, thx alot CEBTROPY for this release. I really enjoy all these SVCD release. My cousin have a DVD Player that can't read SVCD and i simply converted it into vcd with nero. So stop saying that centropy sucks because they put their new release into SVCD cause it's really better. At beginning we had movies in .asf, horrible, then came other things, well vcd will go out, and in 2 years everyone will have SVCD DVD Player, it's the same thing.
Cheer
SmAsH
hmmm good shit
whats the deal with that thing where that guy says there not going to realese star wars
Hopefully in the near future everything willll BE centropy there the best and the only thing i really want to watch
and the thing about svcd get a new dvd player mine supports it just fine to hell with the majority of people who dont have dvd player that will support svcd its the latest and best shit for new realeses keep um coming
Prolly the wrong thread to say this... CTP's SVCD TS's are great.. If you can play them, daemon-tools the mpegs out and convert them.. its not that hard.. there are resources around to do this.
Or take the pennies out of your asses and go and buy a decent play everyhing dvd layer, apex, omni, shinco what ever. I havent had a single problem with any svcd, dvdr, vcd rel yet...
As to the quality of the rel's they are very nice, much better than i actually expected. Keep up the great work..

Most DVD players don't support SVCD, but almost every DVD player supports VCD.
If this was the eighties, and you are going to release a bootleg on Video Tape, would you choose Beta or VHS, Beta may be better in many ways but the vast majority of ppl have VHS.
think about it

This is another awesome release by CTP - this last slew of SVCD TS' has been great.
As far as people complaining about the fact this is a SVCD and not a regular VCD you must remember:
a) if you REALLY have to you can re-encode.
b) SVCD is a STANDARD. Its not experimental. While not being found on very many US made DVD players it is popular elsewhere in the world. They could be releasing these as DVD if they wanted to - its a standard but then everyone would bitch since most people don't have DVD burners yet.
Anyways - if you can't play SVCDs - try re-encoding or invest in a different player that can play them.
did anyone get the new film The NEW GUY from CENTROPY yet and have they converted it to mpg and found out how big it is
props to centropy for this excellent release! cant wait to see this movie...
for all you people bs'ing about there svcds, go to brandsmart and get a dvd player for 60 bucks that plays em great, i got a freakin Classic dvd player, which ive never even heard of before and it plays em great, so quit yer bitchin
Centropy > *
Good job guys!
you guys are the champs of the scene I hope you show everyone how to do it st2 right!
Sweet MAN, thats awesome gotta check this out..!!!
Just finished viewing the flick. Props go out on to CTP on this release, i give it a 9/9/9. Eddie Griffin is only in it briefly, but he has a major contribution to the humor when he is around. Also, anyone other than me notice the microphone from the movie sets poking into the screen 6 or 7 times? Was easy to miss, but i caught em. Thanks CTP, and thank you VCDQuality.
curious
If that's the case with the microphone, that's two CTP releases lately that have featurede visible boom mike's in the top of the frame.
Man, where are CTP shooting their telesyncs? In the post-production room?
