fairly crisp video marred by quite noticable flicker (especially bad in light scenes). Sound is solid. Movie was very very bad - the ending might as well be from a disney movie...

Why hasnt someone fucking release a good DVD Screener already. Geezus fucking christ. Its been long enough, Im gonna fucking go out of my way now to aquire a disc from the studio myself. See what you all made me do. Shit...Here it comes.

video is really nice, the flicker is really only noticable in light scenes, and its not really a bother. pic is slightly faded, but if you mess with ur settings it can look really good. ppl were complaining about blockiness during action scenes, playing this on my standalone, i didnt notice any blockiness at all.

sound is bleh, this is the only complaint i have with this release, its hard to describe, sound is kinda high pitched, but still decent enough to warrant a dl.

movie, was gonna see it in theatres tonight, dunno if i still am tho, so might give this rls a watch instead.

o and ppl in the other thread were saying disc 1 is 40 mins, and disc 2 is 80, this is untrue, both discs are 60 mins plus some odd secs.

Why a repack? On the other thread they explained how to open the files. Anyway giving this movie a second view i have to say it is very good. There was some slight pixelation but considering it is a dark movie with alot of heavy motion scenes i thought it was above expectation. Sound was low and a little hollow but clean. Good Job.

As for the TS:

Video 7.5: TS's by nature will have problems. Usual suspects are motion blur, flicker, heavy cropping and bad angle. This one had some flicker, however, on the standalone I found that most of the flicker was gone. This is a very good picture, clear, and without excessive cropping.

Revolutions is a good ending to the trilogy because, *spoiler* that peace is obtained even though it seems 100% likely that it will not happen, and that the architect will be right about Zion being destroyed and eventually rebuilt.

Okay e-nuf . . .

Thank you TCR for the repack, I'm not sure it would have been absolutely needed, but I just *feel* better know that I do not have any CRC errors when checking the .rar's.

Well lets see, I didn't write in detail about my thoughts on this movie because a) the admins get pissed off when these threads turn into debates about the movies, and b) not to riddle this thread with spoilers and ruin the movie for those that haven't seen it. It's called a courtesy (yes, I know probably too big a word for you, look it up in a dictionary).

I "get" the whole movie and trilogy but that doesn't change the fact I found it wholly unsatisfying. We can debate the movie in a spoiler thread in the general forums if you want, but in the meantime go check out places like amazon.com or netflix.com where half the reviews coming in are negative. You'll soon realize not everyone holds the same opinions as you.

I enjoy movies like most people here but the day I wig out on people and call them "retards" because I disagree with their opinion of a damn movie is the day I commit myself to the Institution for Pathetic Losers. Clearly your entire self-worth is tied into your opinions on movies. You need to go find a hobby or girlfriend and for god's sake man put down the computer.

video was significantly improved over the mirage cam

audio i found to be clearer, though i am legally deaf in my right ear

movie: after watching it for the third time, i've dropped it a half point from my mirage post, there is less and less martial artistry, and more love.. i dont know how many times the word love was used, but it was more than the average n'sync song

still stating its better than the second, and worse than the first

Sorry, you're wrong about the admins about not wanting people to post in detail, I've seen enought times where pHo and M$ are reeming some person for being so vague and undescriptive. I'm just saying be brief and specific, but give this asshole some detail to chew.

Oh and about the personal attack, yeah, I started it and likely deserved your comments (none of which represent my life), but I am proud to be labeled an asshole if I can get more people to give more thought than just saying they found the movie "wholly unsatisfying".

But to the movie..

The movie im gonna rate on full is still the same score as before with just the sample. Tried to convert to DVD damn thing wasnt very compliant with me on disc2 :P

But still a good quick rls, pffff Screener indeed some people just dont have a clue.

In my opnion this movie sucked cause it had so much to live up to, so many directions it could have taken. But it didnt , it just took the tipical holywood movie formula (masive fight scene's+ love+CGI) and pounded a very porly writen sceen play down our throats. I dont knock anyone who liked this I just think if you liked this movie , you dont like good movies. I was entrtained (casue I was picking it apart) and think if you pay to see this movie you could all just send me your money and I will make a live ation whiny the poo movie.

I respect your point of view on Revolutions. I can even agree with what you are saying about the hollywood formula being applied, but then again, that POV could be applied to the whole trilogy. I thought Revolutions played into a perfect ending for this period of Zion's history, for this series of The Matrix.

Well I did like this trilogy ending, and I the proof that I do like good movies might lay in the fact that my fav flick (A Bronx Tale) does not involve any of the "hollywood formula", except a little love. But I do hear ya. Cleary. And thanks for the detail.

The video is ok but should have been a 3 disc release as it shows the blockies in the last half hour, the sound is out of sync and the movie was a mess.

Try burning with different media and/or play on a different standalone player. I had no blocking anywhere.

Flicker

The flicker is terrible. I will commend TCR on the quality of the video otherwise, but the flicker is a HUGE annoyance, especially since a film like the matrix is enjoyed because of its special effects/CGI. No wonder computer freaks like us are stereotyped as nerds with glasses..it's cuz we watch bad Telesyncs theat fuck up our eyes.
