Hey Now,
Sorry dude ... But I must disagree ....
From the Sample .....
Video - 7.0
Audio - 7.5
movie - ??

This is in no way a cam audio ... to clean to be a cam ... Didnt knotice any "jerky" scenes from the sample ... A little pixlation but nothing out of the ordinary .... I wont say great release but Ill say good release

Video:
Good clean pic and good colors. The video is choppy only in a few spots for a few seconds.

Audio:
Very clean and know major screwups. For those of you bitching that the audio is cam audio your fucking stupid. You guys think because there is a hiss that it is a cam. TS's don't necessarily have to use direct sound from an audio jack and most don't seem to. The hiss goes away at the beginning.

Watched the whole movie on my standalone. Good overall release. Great Kids movie.

8 / 8 / 9 (depending on age of kids)

wow that picture sample looks awsome. Hopefully there will be a telecine soon.

What is looks like is a vcd with a svcd header.

Posted by JustMe on 12-30-2003 05:11 PM:

hmmm, altho the first scene where the camera sweeps over the houses is choppy, the rest of the movie payed absolutely fine here, but on the change over from CD1 to CD2 there seems to be a chunk of the movie missing. Anyone else noticed this??

Apart from that tho, this is a good release with very nice colours and sound.
Yes, it has a slight blue effect on the darker scenes, but it's not too bad at all.

7/7/6

Not a bad movie, but it coulda been better. Def one the kids will enjoy.

Talking

i'm pleased - pretty good video considering it's a ts - sound has some hiss but i can live with that.

couple of skippy bits near the start of the first disc, but seems fine after that.

cool film too - not your average kiddie flick despite what other posters have said.

"i do belive in fairies! i do! i do!" lol

missing between cd1 and cd2

Just got through watching this one, quality is good, jerky at the start but once over this, the movie is excellent, audio and video up to ts standards.

The changeocver from cd1 to cd2 looks odd... as "justme" says, there may be sone footage missing.

cd1 ends with peterpan standing on the small boat saluting.
cd2 starts with a blueish scene with a fire.

Anyone else notice this... ?

6.8/6.5/8.5
decent enough copy, considering its the first one out, quick of the mark also.

Watched the full release sunday night, Excellent clarity and good color. however, once again it looks like a piss poor job of converting the framerate from PAL to NTSC, and it's like that on both my PC and three other DVD players, framerate looks worse when there are fast motion sequences.

The audio is nice, and the movie well in my opinion was nothing spectacular. My kids started to watch it but lost interest about 3/4 of the way through and started playing with their X-mas presents. Personally i'd rather watch Hook for the 10th time, but hey.. if your a Disney freak then it should be right up there with the live action 101 Dalmations.

Video = 5 (Because of the framerate)(
Audio = 8
Movie = 7

The chunk missing, *the* chunk the kids wanted to see most, Hook vs. Croc, is wiped out by dancing fairies, missing, cut, gone.

On this basis, being as the movie can only appeal to the very young in the first place, this rls oughtta be *nuked*.

5/7/4

burning at 52 x the film starts choppy burning at slowest speed improves quite a bit even on memorex discs.apart from first few seconds sound ok. some noticeable pixilation picture choppness seems only at beginning of cd 1 so far.colours bright enough.will keep the kids quiet till dvd screener or dvd retail rip.

I give it 6/6/5.

Unhappy Missing

So does anyone know how much is missing?

Posted by romany magick on 01-02-2004 05:28 PM:

Because of video jerking around:-

6/7/6

sadly the content didn't appeal to me.

Posted by Stuart49 on 01-03-2004 01:23 AM:

Video and sound both excellent....not a movie for me though

the frame rate is pooched on this movie. It's still very watchable,
just have to get used to it.

The audio is ok, little tiny and a slight hiss, but the hiss is quite
low - if you watch it on the TV, don't use your home theater
system if you have one and just push the audio through the
TV speakers and its hardly audiable.

The movie was suprisingly entertaining. Not exactly the typical
peter pan movie - some decent adult humor/lines in it.

video: 6
audio: 6.5
movie: 7.5

Posted by garvey100 on 01-04-2004 08:19 PM:

I found the framerate a bit suspect too. Picture good on the whole and sound is good if a little hollow.

Poor Quality...

This was a very poor download quality for me. The audio and video were completely out of sync. The audio was fine, but the video seemed to lag and jump a bit. After a few minutes, you would hear something that you wouldn't see until 30 seconds later. Quite annoying.
