ive got a theory with the sound but not tested ......
maybe it has been recorded (somehow) only on the rear speakers e.g. in a 5.1 setup if you know what i mean...
cause when i turn speakers up full sounds like a line input with no amp

In all my years of film downloading i have never come across this.

It sounds great on one of my pcs not the other 2. Ive no sound on my dvd player and tv downstairs but on the one in my bedroom it sounds good. In tmpgenc it comes up as no sound...

DK- why are some ppl saying good quality and other saying shitty this is useless to read these comments ... also mystic sleepers that sometimes *many times?* post comments after viewing the damn sample. fuck that.

yeah that was constructive... its not useless it just means its not working on all setups so take a chance if you want... or wait

If I switch the pro-logic off on my tv then i have sound if i switch it back on it mutes it...

The sound seems to be on the rear speakers in prologic mode
but is ok in 3d mode..

also halfway into the second disc, the sound goes outta sync
and seem to sync back up everytime Ren'ee Zelweger
enters the scene??

Yeah straight stereo sound is ok on my TV......through my Amp is shyte also.......weird.

alright, I'll post my 2 cents ...

the video is alright for a vhs screener, and a note for groups who actually read these forums, please keep vhs screeners in VCD, and dvd scr in SVCD, it seems to work best that way.

the sound was weird, not sure how it was done, but on my pc it was all good, kind muffled, but if you reset the speakers right, it was watchable ... the fiancee' got home and wanted to peep, so I put it in the standalone and you couldn't hear shit, no matter if it was on full blast or what ... not sure how that happens ...

the movie is good, glad I burned on cd-rw to watch on the standalone, the dvdr will be much better, patience is a virtue!

They really messed up the sound bad on this one. You can't hear anything when playing it on a stand-alone player.

FACE IT CVD WILL NEVER BE USED


On the release, I just finished watching it with my family and the little audio bug threw me for a loop in the begining and we just watched it in plain ole stereo...sounded decent but it wasn't anything great. Little or no distortion on the audio though it wasn't as sharp as it could have been.

The video wasn't any great, like its been said. It was highly grainy and lacked any real detail. Colors were washed out and I think it was slightly cropped too.

Movie was absolute shit. I can't believe you can make so many movies like this...seriously, some boring stuff... at being just under 2 and 1/2 hours, I found myself very restless and not entertained. If I wasn't sick, I probably would have fallen asleep. Plot was repetitive and predictable...this better not win ANY academy awards.

I have a bit of a dilemma, my family wants to watch this movie and I said that I would get it for them, but you see after watching some scenes I noticed that it has some pretty decent nudity in it which is a little pro longed. Watching pro longed nudity with my family feels weird, so what is your opinion, should I burn the 2 cd’s and say I have the movie, or should I say that the audio is horrible on the release, so I say we wait until a better version comes out like a DVD-rip. I need some opinions fast like ASAP.

why you peeps keep going on about using cvd, its not going to happen, its not compatible with a number of standalones, release groups have rules to stick to if they want their release to be not nuked first rule in the book ,movies must be VCD or SVCD compliant , nowhere des it say CVD cus its shit - this is crap rls i would rather watch the ts.

Vid 7 Once I turned up the colour on my tv, it was more than acceptable.

Movie ?? Haven't finished watching it yet.

I didn't experience any of the audio probs that any of the above posters seemed to suffer. Played absolutely fine, with full audio, on my standalone and tv!

Enough of the complaints

This is one of my very few comments due to the fact that by the time I actually have time to sit down and watch a movie, there are already a multitude of replies similar to that which I would have posted. It is with suppressed outrage that I speak negative of the posts reguarding this release. I finished watching the entire release on my dvd player and was amazed at the fact it was not a DVD I had been watching.

1. On the "complaints" of pixalation, spend the 27 cents and burn the release to cd-r; this will get rid of your pixalation more likely than not, caused by your vcdgear or similar app.

2. As for the sound only playing on the rear speakers, refer to "1" above and let your dvd player or receiver take care of that.

3. As for the "CVD" outcries, get a camera and make your own CVD, but dont sit back and critisize others for there accomplishments.

4.It is also with a heavy spirit that I make others aware that the provider of the screener will most likely not be sending anymore rips. If you burn the release and watch it closely, you will see at time 29:22 of CD-2 a series of six yellow markers located just below the shack windows. I believe these to be a new method of tracking screeners that manage to get leaked into the warez scene.

To sum myself up; stop complaining, place fault ony where it lies, play safe, and most important of all, cover your ass.

On my PC, the sound sucks when playing with WMP9, Zoom and in Stereo 2 speaker mode within PowerDVD Player. Changing it to DirectSound3D or TruSurroundXT, the sound is pretty good and I'd rate it an 8.

Actually, I was able to repack with minimal effort. Demultiplex in Tmpgenc, Winamp (MP2-->raw WAV) with DFX audio processor enabled, Besweet it back (WAV-->MP2) and multiplex back with the original video.

So I'd overall rate this the following:

Original: 7, 3, 9
Repack: 7, 9, 9

Synchron.

Hmm yep tis true bout the audio really strange put it on my 6.1 setup and centre rear and surround rear sound real sweet ive also got a little audio from front left but nothing from front right or centre.

I even put it through tmpgenc and it was still the same ....guess ill watch it in stereo *sob*

Shame for the F#%k up on sound Tdi - But now i've converted the sound This release is soooooo sweeeeeet - props for release, bad luck about wrong encode on sound
Here's how i done it -
de-muxed the sound out using mpeg tools on tmpeg
converted the .mp2 file to .wav
used the channel converter in sound forge to put the channels back to how they should be
then saved it back as an mp3
& muxed files back with tmpeg

release is now 100% Gooood ...... i'm happy - thx Tdi
